This is the first app I’ve discovered where kids can clearly hear words spoken by other children. It’s incredibly valuable because kids naturally learn better by imitating their peers.While features like personalized daily plans and detailed progress reports require payment, the free version still offers engaging mini-games and vocabulary practice. Upgrading makes a notable difference: tasks become tailored to your child’s progress and vocabulary needs.I initially doubted, but after trying the personalized plan, my daughter is definitely improving faster. Highly recommend Speech Start—it’s reassuring that the app follows genuine speech therapy techniques.

Great app! I’ve been using it with my daughter, who we are raising bilingual, which can be challenging. I noticed her lexicon and pronunciation got better! Even the free mini-games are useful, but the personalized paid plan noticeably speeds up progress. Highly recommended.

I purchased a year subscription for $99 and then it renews in a year for $200. The graphics and set up are good but the unlocked version is misleading. The full subscription does not include any additional new activities. It has the exact same activities as the free basic program. Also there is no way to turn off the music in the settings. It also does not include a lifetime membership like the Speech Blubs app, which i bought for $99. Nonverbal children need years of speech therapy and possibly their entire life too. I will not be renewing. I cancelled.

The app clearly explains that you can cancel at any time there is no way to do so. The support team does not respond in 24 hours. However there are continuous attempts to draft. You can’t cancel by apple subscription which I thought I did. By signing in there is an option to manage subscription but it doesn’t work. No response from the speech support and no other contact information. My bank explained they are located outside of the United States.
