So there isn’t an injury void policy like literally every other pick em app has. Your player you have going over gets hurt and doesn’t return again, it’s a loss, no void. So that bumps it down 2 stars for me. Also they give you bonus funds and they expire 7 days from the time but when you get lots of bonus funds b2b due to their promos and lose track of how much expires when, you have to manually keep track of it on your own, apparently their system can’t tell you how much expires when like other pick em apps do…. They do have prize pools where you can win more than your minimum payout but them not having a void policy for players who get hurt like other apps can really ruin your chances of winning on this app. I know it’s new to the market but definitely needs a lot of updating if they want to compete with other apps, Draft Kings Pick6 seems to be the best Pick Em app for player props in Texas at the moment. They have an early exit void for players who get injured and don’t ruin your entire slip… and a lot of other good promotions as well… hopefully fan duel can do better in the future!

Let’s talk the good first. I think it’s a good looking app. It works well and is easy to use. Now the not so good. The rules need improvement. The fact if a player doesn’t play is an automatic loss is pretty terrible. Also, they clearly don’t have a solution for pushes yet. Every selection has a .5, which can really swing the odds. This leads to some selections having ONLY a more or less selection. Which then leads me to believe that that selection is a “plus money” choice. So I tend to only select plays that have a more and less option. Lastly, I’m not sure what the point is of the putting all the entries in groups. Seems pointless bc if you get your selections right, you win. Maybe there’s some legal reason or they wanna make it like their DFS where you’re “competing” with others. But you’re not in this case. Bottom line, this is a fine game but they need to improve it for me to play beyond my promo funds. I’ve had way more success on other similar games where there are more options for plays. FanDuel Picks is tough due to limited player selections, and limited choices for those players.

FanDuel is genuinely one of the most entertaining sports apps I’ve used. The concept is solid and the platform has huge potential.But the technical issues are becoming hard to ignore.The app tends to glitch at crucial moments: random freezes, lag when navigating between sections, and occasional errors when trying to submit picks. It breaks the rhythm of the experience and makes something that should be simple feel frustratingly unpredictable.On top of that, FanDuel removes events far too early. It happens across multiple sports. Whether it’s a basketball game with plenty of time left, a football matchup where momentum shifts constantly, or a hockey game that can turn around in minutes, the events close before I can adjust or add to my picks. It feels like I’m being rushed, and it takes away the strategic freedom that makes the platform enjoyable in the first place.FanDuel has a lot of potential and is genuinely fun when everything is functioning smoothly, but the glitches and early event removal keep it from being the polished, reliable app it could be. Fix those issues, and it would easily be a five-star experience.

I was shocked that fanduel would have the worst DFS app BY FAR versus all their competitors. 3 pick minimum, awful payouts that are far less than other apps, limited selection of picks and “unders” are almost completely not allowed, expiring promo money, no injury protection. DNP’s also cause slips to pay out a fraction of what they would’ve paid out had it just been one leg less too for some wild reason, unlike every single other app. I could go on, but it’s truly baffling just how bad the app is. I expected more from a company like fanduel that has been doing sports betting for a while. I thought prizepicks and underdog finally had competition, but it’s not even close. Fanduel picks is years and years behind EVERY other app out there, even the horrible ones like pick6. I ran through my initial deposit and the promo funds and I’m out, I wouldn’t play here for free.I almost forgot, all players that did not play for whatever reason will be automatically graded as a loss no matter what you picked, even if the entire game was cancelled. That alone is enough to never ever play on this piece of garbage. Utter scum company for hiding that in the rules when no app has ever done such an awful scam rule
