Recent updates made it much better. It’s really cute and personalizable, would recommend. Developers are constantly making updates and improving as they go, which is really refreshing to see. A lot of the problems noted in the older reviews have been resolved. They’ve added in a free daily scan and more opportunities to get coins. I don’t mind having to watch an ad for the free stuff, you guys gotta make money somehow. I’m also glad there’s no in-app pop-ups, that’s usually the quickest way to lose someone. Minor Note/Question: I couldn’t find any information on the copy scan feature? I looked in the FAQ and all over the app and didn’t see anything. If I copy it and then sell/trade the copy will the original also be sold/traded with it? Would love to know more about it.Thanks guys, looking forward to the future of this app!

Slowly getting worse1
(BRO Please make scans free again, i dont wanna have to delete this game i actually like it but THIS 100% ruined it bro PLEASE, its bad enough you took out the cool rooms from before.) PLEASSEEE!!!!! This game was so much fun when i first got it, one free scan every single day, people were sending good offers, but NOW that they reworked the time capsule everyone is stingy with their coins, not only that, they removed the daily free scan!!! How Greedy!!! That was the last thing keeping me on this game, i even made a purchase. They replaced the free daily scan with a paid subscription. Again how greedy, i now regret spending money thinking this was an honest free to play game, every update they say “added improvements” yet it slowly gets worse every time. This is the last time i purchase anything on this app as it went from optional, to now you have to pay if you want the stuff that used to be free. Im so close to deleting one more terrible update and im gone for life, me and my girlfriend both.

Thanks for writing this, and I'm sorry the recent changes have soured the experience, especially after you supported the game with a purchase.One thing worth clearing up though: free scans haven't gone away. You can still earn them by watching ads to collect tokens, then spending those tokens on scans. The subscription is just an alternative for players who'd rather skip the ads, not a replacement for the free path. If that route wasn't obvious, that's on me to make clearer in the UI, and it's useful to know it came across as a full paywall.The reason the old daily-scan setup changed at all is that it wasn't sustainable in its previous form. If the game loses money on transactions it won't be able to exist long enough to bring free enjoyment to the players. The token system keeps free access alive while making the numbers work.Appreciate you caring enough to push back. Feedback like this is how the rough edges get found.

I love this game and I play it every day! I love trinkets and collecting things and this game is just that. The only thing I would change is adding more rooms and maybe letting you change the room backgrounds.Edit: A feature that could be added is a section where you can view others’ shoobits that you have liked.

The concept of this game is SO cool but the monetization completely ruins the creativity. You only get one free scan a day, scans cost more coins than the game even gives you to start with, and there’s basically nothing to do once you run out except look at other people’s rooms. The whole appeal is making your own Shoobits and decorating your own space, but the app constantly stops you from creating unless you spend real money on coins. It’s especially frustrating because the idea itself has so much potential. Most people are not going to stay on ur app when u limit creation so severely. I dont care about looking at other people shoobits i just wanted to make my own. keeps me on the app 1 minute. Honestly, the strongest version of Shoobox would probably lean way harder into:* personal collections,* sentimental objects,* themed rooms,* creator identity,* unlimited experimentation.

Hey, appreciate the feedback but a few things worth clearing up. You can earn free tokens and scans just by watching ads, and the Store and Time Capsule both drop free unique content every day. So there's actually a lot of free creation available, it just isn't landing in front of you clearly enough, which is on me. Worth mentioning Shoobox is run by a single dev and costs a lot of money to operate, and scans genuinely cost money on the backend, so the free paths are honestly pretty generous given that.
