The app itself is, in fact, free to download. But in order to use anything in the app other than adding one recipe (that you have to put in yourself) you have to either pay for a monthly membership or a $96 yearly membership. Not worth the download. Maybe it would have been if prices would have been upfront.

I wanted to experience Paprika 4's features for a year and was offered an introductory price of $4. Now I get to manually type every detail about a recipe into Paprika's format and they will allow me to access all my work from my device. THIS is Paprika 4??? Wish I could get a refund.

I don’t know what the “fix” was but the app did not have the functionality it promised and there was nothing to even allow me to troubleshoot or complain. I purchased a one year subscription upfront and now will have to try to get my money back.

Doesn’t have any of the functionality of Version 3 and is designed to entice you to subscribe cheaply, before allowing you to see that it’s a shell of a program. It’s borderline fraud and may in fact cross that line.
