Loving this app! As a special educator who works with young adults, I see this app taking a lot of the stuff I know works with my neurodiverse students and making it accessible.I love the little bits of wisdom it passes along, and how it presents them in a way that increases understanding and integration for neurodiverse minds. So love how it sets up the check-ins, adding a feelings check in before the journaling, and gives prompts based on the feelings check in. This makes it more accessible for someone who is new to journaling. Following up the journaling with gratitudes is also helpful, as even a more challenging journal entry is bookended on a positive note. It’s also fun and effective that it gamifies things so that you earn points for doing journals, gratitudes, and other things (affirmations and tons of other mindfulness strategies). The strategies that earn you points are all taken from the kinds of somatic therapies that are super effective for neurodiverse folks, such as DBT, EMDR, ACT, and others. Really great way to integrate skills into daily life, and buying different outfits and room decor for your little fox character makes it cute and fun in a way that uses the sort of additive nature of our phones for good!Love this for myself (41 year old, late-diagnosed, high masking AuDHD) and will pass it along to students and mentees for sure!
So far I’m LOVING IT!

My 17 yr old daughter recommended this app to me while we’re navigating a really tough situation and working to break out of years of mental and emotional chaos. I downloaded it right away after seeing how she’s been using it, and so far, I’m really loving it. I do wish I had the means to purchase the PLUS version right now, but unfortunately I don’t. I also wish a few more features were available to non PLUS users however, I completely understand that those features help support the developers and keep the app growing. It would be amazing if there were an option for users like me to test beta features, maybe giving us a chance to experience some of the PLUS “magic.” Overall, I’m really excited to keep using this app and continue learning, growing, and deepening my emotional awareness and understanding of myself.
I actually do like it
Alexander - Pokealec
I am someone with autism and ADHD and I don’t use many apps (especially self-help ones) because they haven’t ever really helped me. This one I was surprised with though, because I’m actually using and enjoying it.I like to end my day with sending my little buddy on an adventure so that they come back sometime the next morning and I can see what we’ve learned about emotions together. The app also has a lot of useful techniques for calming anxiety, dealing with embarrassment, loneliness, anger, sadness, and other feelings. You can get by pretty easily without paying for anything, and although I do wish you could add more custom quests without a subscription. However I don’t think it costs too much so that might be okay. Paying for the subscription only really gives you an opportunity to buy more cosmetics from the store and customize quests a little.Something really interesting about this app is I haven’t heard any audio from it. I don’t know if that was an intentional feature or if it’s a bug. I think I would enjoy some nice little sounds when I click things or when I send my little guy on an adventure, but it’s not something I’m going to stop using this because of.Overall I like it, and it might be something worth trying out!

Thanks for your kind words! We have some sounds planned soon :)
The Best Self Care App!!
BeecharmerIdgie
I’ve always struggled with self care apps that have streaks and a million features and an emotional guilt trip (like if you don’t log onto the app, the little animal will stop being your friend) etc. This app is nothing like that. You can go at your own pace, no streaks. There are no overstimulating adds and the only features you have to pay for are aesthetic things; all the self care features are free. There are just enough features to be engaging and helpful but not overwhelming. The color palette is low-stim and I don’t think anything is AI because it feels so personal and human. Honestly, this is the best self care app I’ve tried, I’ve only had it a few days but it feels very supportive and isn’t stressful or overwhelming.
A few small bugs have been smoothed away, keeping your journey calm and cozy.
