A new privacy choice. • Settings → Privacy now has a "Do not sell or share my personal information" switch. Turn it on and ONDA stops sharing your app activity with ad partners. More reliable video posts. • Video uploads no longer stall partway through, and a video that already posted won't upload a second time after a lost connection. Made for iPad. • ONDA now fills the whole iPad screen, and live video plays edge to edge in landscape. • The Full Week forecast uses the full screen, and the Daily day picker spreads across it. A redesigned spot page. • New forecast charts with a playhead you can scrub through the day or the week, and the map follows along. • Tap the swell or wind chip for a full-screen map you can pan and zoom. • When there's no recent live video, the spot shows a photo of the break instead of an empty player. More to know before you paddle out. • Active NWS beach hazard alerts show on the break page - tap the banner for the full notice. • Water quality grades from Heal the Bay, plus any active water advisories. • A suggested wetsuit for the water temperature. • Spot info now covers restrooms and parking, and opens the break on an in-app map. Smarter video, smarter defaults. • Inline replays now adapt to your connection automatically — no more stalling on weak signal. • Spot detail's swell view now opens to Predicted Wave Height, so the first thing you see is the breaking wave height with the primary-swell wave fronts together. • Inline swell map now matches the fullscreen one — clean "no data" states for Secondary/Tertiary slots, and uniform wave fronts when you're viewing one. Sign-in is more forgiving. • Added "Skip for now" on the email-confirm prompt — no more dead-end if you don't want to confirm yet. • Your signed-in session is preserved when you cold-start the app with no signal. The swell page now knows what's actually hitting your break. • NEW "Show what's hitting" — at spots where the offshore primary swell doesn't bend into the break, tap to see the swell that's actually reaching the spot (e.g. the 12s S at Steamer when the buoy reads 9s NW). • Each swell page (Primary / Secondary / Tertiary) now has its own swipeable map. Spot detail lands on Primary by default. • Wave-height labels are more granular — Flat through 20+ ft. • Much faster cold start, with bundled fonts and cached map tiles. Posting is more forgiving. • NEW offline drafts for posts — submit text, photo, or video on a weak connection and we'll hold it, then send when you're back online (just like stream uploads and session logs). • Upload shows real progress and warns you up front if a video is too big. • Posts can no longer accidentally double-create if your connection drops mid-upload. • Fixed the Edit Post sheet so Save stays visible above the keyboard. Cameras + fixes. • NEW pinch-to-zoom on the in-app camera and the streaming camera. • Offline banner doesn't flap on transient network blips. • Several iOS crash fixes (iOS 26 lifecycle, fullscreen camera exit, better crash reporting).
