Find your place in the sun.
SunSeekr shows you where the sun is, right now. Find sunny pubs, cafés, rooftops and restaurants, or use Sun Paths to walk through the sunshine.
Our real-time shadow simulation maps sunlight across your city, helping you decide where to sit, where to go and now, how to get there.
SUN PATHS
Walking navigation, built around sunlight.
Pick a start and destination and SunSeekr finds a route that keeps you in the sun, or in the shade when that's what the day calls for.
Sun Paths is now available in:
London · Manchester · Bristol · Berlin · Hamburg · Cologne · Amsterdam · Copenhagen · Munich
MAPPED TERRACES
We don't just show pins. See the actual shape of a terrace and how much of it is in the sun right now. No more guessing.
SUN EXPOSURE BY HOUR
Every venue shows when the sun hits, hour by hour. Planning a 4pm drink? See when that terrace catches the sun and when it loses it.
WEATHER INTELLIGENCE
Temperature, wind and rain matter too. SunSeekr helps you understand when it's genuinely nice to sit outside, not just when the sun is technically visible.
SMART NOTIFICATIONS
Save your favourite spots and get a nudge when conditions are just right.
EXPLORE
Discover verified venues, trending spots and local events. Filter by venue type, outdoor seating and sun conditions to find somewhere that fits the moment.

This was a great app. But it does not seem to work anymore :/

I’m in Denver on the map but the app says at the top that I’m in Los Angeles in terms of the weather. It is still nice to be able to see the areas that are shaded around me in downtown Denver. You can also move the time so that you can see where the sun will be hitting in the future. Great for checking if the sun is out on the pool deck yet!
Developer Response
Thanks for flagging this, and glad the sun and shade map has been useful in Denver! The weather location showing Los Angeles while you're in Denver definitely isn't right. We've been improving location handling and will keep working on this. Thanks for the really helpful feedback ☀️
Heated terraces are here
Cold out? Tap the flame on the map to see pubs, cafés and restaurants with heaters, fire pits, igloos or covered seating — in London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Dublin and 30+ more cities.
SunSeekr on Apple Watch
See which of your saved spots are in the sun right now, with each spot's sun chart for the day. Add a spot to your watch face as a complication.
Better widgets
Your Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets now show a flame on heated terraces, today's offers, and partner venues' logos.
Plus a faster map, more reliable notifications and lots of small fixes.
