The Mem-Re-Call game is a fun, easy-to-play card-matching game designed for players of all ages. Choose from colorful icons like flowers, dogs, and cars. Track your scores, view past results, and challenge yourself with increasing difficulty. Perfect for casual play or sharpening your memory! For those with an unusual degree of patience please see the more complete description of the game below.
The Mem-Re-Call game is a straightforward memory game where one is presented with up to 10 pairs of cards with cute little icons of flowers, dogs, or cars. The goal is turn all of cards face up in the shortest time and with the least number of clicks. Initially all the cards are turned face down. Before being presented with the array of cards the player gets to choose how many pairs he wants to challenge himself with and whether to use dog, flower, or car icons. The player then clicks on any of the cards to turn it face up. The player then clicks on any other face down card to see if it matches the first. If it does, GREAT! Those cards will stay face up for the rest of the game. If it doesn't the player must click on either of the non-matched cards to turn it face down again and then try another card to see if it is a match with the card the player chose to keep face up. If it is a match, GREAT! If not, he must again turn one of the cards face down and try again. The game proceeds in this manner until all cards are face up and the Game Over message pops up.
The Game over message shows the following:
1) the number of seconds,
2) the number of clicks it took to play the game,
3) the SumScore (the sum of the seconds and clicks) , and
4) the game assessment.
The game assessment compares your current sumScore with your previous best sumScore and politely challenges you to do better if you didn't beat your previous best.
After playing a number of games the player can go to the SCORES screen to see the record of his scores. He can see his scores in the order in which he played his games OR he can click the Change Score Order button to see his scores ordered by pairs; that is, all the games he played with 2 pairs, or 3 pairs, etc. He can also list time and clicks as separate columns OR click the Change Scoring Method button to just see his SumScores (scores as a total of times and clicks). Note: SumScores is probably the most meaningful assessment. The reason is that one could do really well if he or she took a lot of time to record or memorize the cards as he turned them up.
Thousands of apologies for this long explanation - - just go ahead and enjoy the game.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
1) The instructions accessed from the Instructions & Other stuff button are more complete (the spelling is mostly correct too)
2) The cards now do a brief pirouette (flip) when the player turns one face up for face down.
3) Most significantly, the Game Ended message now includes the player's previous best score and whether or not the player bested it on the game just played.
