What's new in 1.6 Medals. Name your best of each kind of place -- the best tacos in Mexico, the best view in Lisbon -- one per country. Tap the medal when you pin a place, and see them all in your medal case on your profile. Medals show on pins and help rank popular spots. Travel mode. Turn it on in Memory Lane before a trip and Mapn nudges you each evening to pin the places you went. If you like, it can also suggest places you stopped without taking a photo, and give you a heads-up when you're near a place a friend loved. Both are off unless you turn them on, and your location never leaves your phone. All of Mapn in search. Tap the planet in search to see the places and cities people pin most across all of Mapn, not just your friends. A new look. The night sky now runs through the whole app, with a new icon to match. Places show star ratings from the people who went. Also: suggested mappers show who you know that follows them, you can drag to reorder a pin's photos, and bug fixes and other minor improvements.

What's new in 1.5 Bucket lists. Tap the bucket on any place to save it for later. Your list lives on the other side of your passport: tap the bucket count on your profile to flip it over and see every place you want to go light up on the globe. Pin a place on your list and it's cleared -- with a small celebration. Place cards and popular spots show how many people you follow want to go too. A new look for profiles. Your passport now hangs in a night sky, with each country on its own card. Tap a country to zoom the globe in on it, and the pins inside run the full width of the card. Zoom in on photos. Pinch or double-tap any photo in full screen. What's new in 1.4 Mapper levels. Your passport now earns you a level -- Debut, Budding, Seasoned, Veteran, then Extreme -- from the countries and pins you've collected. From Budding up, your seal shows next to your name on your pins. Tap yours on your profile to see what the next level takes. Pinning streaks. Pin twice in a month and you're heating up; twice in a week and you're on fire. Your streak shows on your profile and beside your name on your pins. Surprise me. A new Memory Lane option that digs up a place from your photos you never got around to pinning. Popular destinations. Search now shows the cities your network pins most, in your country or everywhere, alongside popular spots. Comments, right there. Comments open under the pin instead of a new screen, and comment notifications show what was said. What's new in 1.3 Share a photo straight to Mapn. In the Photos app, tap Share on any photo and choose Mapn to pin the place it was taken. On this day. Memory Lane now finds places from around today's date in past years that you haven't pinned yet. US states on your passport. Open the United States on your globe to see the states you've been to, with a states count alongside your countries. A fresh look. A new app icon, a color emoji for every kind of place -- on the map, in your feed and in search -- and new-country cards that turn the globe to face the country you just added. Pins now say what kind of place they are -- Mexican Restaurant, Scenic Lookout, Baseball Stadium -- with matching icons on the map. Popular Spots now weighs how much people loved a place, not just how many went. What's new in 1.1 - See who liked a pin right from your feed; just tap the like count. And see who celebrated when a friend reached a new country. - Blocking now works everywhere. A blocked account's pin disappears from your feed and map, not just their profile. - Fixed a bug where some active accounts showed up as "Deleted account". Pins and comments from accounts that really are deleted are now labeled correctly. - Deleting your account is now more thorough, and removes the comments and likes you left on other people's pins too. - Places without a street address no longer show a stray comma. - Dropping a pin is quicker, especially if you've already pinned a lot.
