Auto captions that support TEGNA's design system fonts/themes App improvements & bug fixes

Download your finished video Published a video you edited? Save a copy straight to your photos from the confirmation screen — no need to re-export or dig through files. Your full upload history Upload History now goes all the way back, instead of stopping at the last seven days. Scroll back as far as you need to find an older piece. Story notes Read the desk's notes on your assignment and add your own, without leaving the app to open Spotlight in a browser. Plus performance improvements and bug fixes.

• New clip speed controls — adjust the playback speed of supported video and audio clips directly in the editor. • In-app bug and feedback reporting — quickly report issues or share feedback without leaving the app. We’ve also included additional stability improvements & UI fixes for light/dark mode

Redesigned Navigation: The app now has a tab-based layout with dedicated sections for Create, Insights, and Search Assets. Everything is one tap away. Upload History and Drafts now live inside the Create tab. Assignments (WBIR only): Creators at WBIR can now see their assigned stories directly in the app. This is a first version and we will be expanding to more stations based on partnership with the Spotlight team. Drafts vanishing unexpectedly: Fixed a rare issue where a corrupted draft could wipe all saved drafts. Clearer error messages when saving fails: If the app runs out of storage during export, you will now see a specific message instead of a generic error. Image selector button layout: Fixed a large misplaced button covering part of the screen when selecting images.

Tap any recently published short in the Dashboard to see exactly how it looks in your station's app. Plus create Mobile Shorts using images only, faster uploads, and automatic storage cleanup after submissions.

In-App Dashboard: Track Mobile Shorts output right inside the app. Creators get a personal view of their publishing activity, active days, best week, and goal streak. Leaders get a station-level view of total videos published, a daily output chart, and the most recently published shorts at their station. Batch Uploads: You can now upload multiple videos in one session inside our direct upload flow. Select, add details, and submit them all at once. Retry Failed Uploads: If an upload fails, it now shows up in Upload History with a clear Retry option. No need to start over from scratch. Bug fixes & app improvements

Bugfixes & app improvements

- Redesigned Home Screen: Upload Video is now the primary action front and center. Edit Video, Search Assets, Edit a Draft, and Upload History are reorganized so you can get to what you need faster. - Force Update Prompt: If you are on an outdated version of the app, you may now see a blocking prompt to update. This keeps everyone on a version that works reliably. - Under the Hood: We made backend analytics and onboarding improvements to help us better understand how the app is being used and surface helpful tips at the right moments. - Missing category options: Fixed an issue where some users were not seeing all available categories when filling out story details. - Search Assets visual polish: Spacing, tag formatting, and icon colors in Search Assets are cleaned up and more consistent. - Thumbnail issues: Fixed two issues where thumbnails would not load correctly during editing and in Upload History.

Uploads just got a whole lot smarter. Leave the app and your upload keeps going. Lose signal and it picks right back up. Plus a redesigned Upload History, download from history, and a sign out option. Bug fixes: submit button stalling, wrong video publishing, drafts not saving, and storage buildup.
