more This app is so much better than Recime-mainly because if I come across an "issue", I contact the creator and they resolve it right away. How many other apps do that?? I also love the social feed-it's so fun to see what my friends are cooking. I can't wait to see what this app will be like in the next year!!

I’ve wanted to cook more at home and I’ve never been able to keep my recipes organized or have an easy way to ask questions or substitutes…. But this app just knows! Seriously thanks for having this

Your grocery list, from day one.
New to Aldenté? Setup now shows you how the grocery list works: add a recipe's ingredients with one tap and they land sorted by aisle, then save the recipe to your cookbook. Your list starts with only what you add.
Also in this release:
• Learn the grocery list during setup
• Your grocery list holds only what you add
• Diet and allergy choices show their full names on every screen
• Save recipes from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook videos

Save recipes from TikTok and Instagram videos.
Share a TikTok or Instagram reel to Aldenté, even one where the recipe is only said out loud, and the full recipe lands in your cookbook. Longer videos keep saving after you close the share sheet, and show up in Recents when they're ready.
Also in this release:
• Save recipes from cooking videos with no written recipe
• Long videos finish saving in the background
• Recipes in other languages arrive translated, title and all
• Cook along with Spotify or Apple Music
• A cleaner recipe editor and servings stepper
• Calories that match each recipe's nutrition facts
• Small amounts in teaspoons and tablespoons, on recipes and your grocery list
• A smoother first setup, plus bug fixes

Save recipes from Facebook and YouTube.
Share a Facebook reel or a YouTube video and the recipe lands in your cookbook, with the steps in the right order. Search is friendlier too: typos still find the recipe, and searching for a friend's name now finds their profile.
Also in this release:
• Save recipes from Facebook reels and YouTube videos
• Cleaner saved recipes, with sections in order and no filler steps
• A heads-up when a post says the recipe is "in bio"
• Search forgives typos and finds people again
• Chats named after the recipe you're cooking
• Bug fixes and security improvements

Save recipes from the big recipe sites.
Share a recipe from a big recipe site in Safari, Chrome or the Google app, and the whole recipe lands in your cookbook, even on sites that used to come back empty. Then cook it to a playlist that matches the cuisine: tap the music button on any recipe's steps.
Also in this release:
• Save recipes from more recipe sites, from Safari, Chrome or the Google app
• Cooking playlists matched to each recipe's cuisine
• Ask a chef about the exact recipe you're cooking, and switch chefs anytime
• More like this: similar recipes at the bottom of every recipe
• A new look while your recipe saves
• Bug fixes and security improvements

Open the recipes your friends cook.

• Shake your phone to report a problem, with a screenshot attached

Add any recipe in one place.
Tap + and say it, type it, paste a link, or snap a photo. You see the whole recipe before it's saved, and you can fix anything just by asking. Your week of meals lives on one page too: every meal at a glance on the Meal Plan tab, with the cook time on each card.
Also in this release:
• Add a recipe by voice, text, link, or photo, then save it to any chapter
• Ask your chef to change a saved recipe and see the update right in the chat, with Undo
• Tips and variations on every recipe, and you can edit them
• A one-week meal plan with cook times on every meal
• Snap a photo of a dish and your chef recreates the recipe
• Step timers and check-offs on every recipe, plus a text size picker

Share your cookbooks with the world. The path is clear now.
Publishing a recipe or a cookbook used to dead-end at the cover step with no way forward. Now every step routes you straight to what it needs, and a small photo is a heads-up instead of a wall. Your cover history holds its place too, so removing one cover keeps the rest.
Also in this release:
• Publishing recipes and cookbooks works end to end
• Cover history stays put, remove one cover and keep the others
• Tap any recipe or cookbook photo to view it full screen and save it
• Sharper, more natural food photos on your recipes
• Printed cookbooks check photo quality before you order
• Referral codes fill themselves in when you arrive from a link

Bigger, easier-to-read text all through your kitchen.
Every recipe, cookbook, and grocery list now reads a size larger — easy to follow from across the counter with your hands full. Your screen stays awake while you're cooking, too, so a recipe never dims out mid-step.
Also in this release:
• Larger, easier-to-read text across recipes, cookbooks, and chapters
• Your screen stays awake while you cook a recipe
• Grocery lists tuck away what you've already grabbed
• Full recipe titles on every card while you browse and save
• Arrival estimates on your printed cookbook orders
• Sharper link previews when you share a recipe or cookbook

Your cookbook chapters now open reliably, every time.
We fixed recipe loading across cookbook chapters, and every message in the app now speaks plain words — so saving recipes, sharing cookbooks, and printing your favorites always tells you what's happening. If anything hiccups, tap Try Again or send us feedback in one tap.
Also in this release:
• Recipes in cookbook chapters load reliably again
• Clearer messages across saving, sharing, and printing recipes
• One-tap feedback from anywhere in your kitchen
• Smoother updates for your recipe cookbook going forward

Your private recipes now stay truly private.
We tightened every path a private recipe could travel — profiles, feeds, shared cookbooks, and direct links — so what you keep private is yours alone. Big cookbooks load faster while we were in there.
Also in this release:
• Private accounts' cook logs now stay follower-only, everywhere they appear
• Opening your own recipe from a cook log works every time
• Chapters in large cookbooks load faster
• Assorted fixes across saving and sharing
