The MySchoolTracker Bus Tracking application enables parents and school authorities to track real-time location of a school bus from anywhere, anytime using RFID tags and GPS trackers. Parents and school authorities receive notifications in the form of SMS or iOS push notifications with the location of the school bus.
Depending on your subscription plan, notifications are configured when the bus is 10 minutes away from the designated bus stop, followed by a notification after the student boards the bus and swipes their RFID card on the card reader in the bus. Parents and school authorities can then track the route of the school bus on a map. Students have to swipe their RFID cards even while getting down from the bus and then, the parents and school authorities get notified once again.
At the end of the school day, students again tap their cards on the reader while boarding or alighting the bus, for parents to get notified by SMS/push messages. The same process is repeated for the return journey back home.
