Method 1
Ask your spectator to draw anything or write down the name of a person that only they would know.
Ask them to remember the imprint of what they have drawn or written, and then to delete that drawing.
Then ask them to draw just a couple of lines from the previous drawing, or if you had asked them to write the name of a secret person, ask them to draw that person.
Once they have done that, ask them to hand the phone to you so you can try to figure out from their second drawing what they originally thought of.
As soon as you get the phone, you will instantly know what they had originally drawn, and you will be able to use your showmanship to read their mind by somehow deciphering their second drawing.
You will receive amazing reactions from this routine.

Method 2
Simply install the accompanying Apple Watch app after installing the iPhone app (if not installed by Apple at the same time automatically) and then open the Doodle Peek watch app.
In your Settings >> Display & Brightness >> Wake Duration setting, keep the screen awake for 70 seconds as this will allow you to peek for longer while the spectator is drawing.
Turn the watch inwards on your wrist and hold something like a leaflet in your hand which you can read. This will divert the attention away from the fact that you are looking at your watch.
Ask the spectator to draw whatever they want and to make it clear. As they draw, it will appear on your watch app in real time. Keep the watch awake if you have to, by turning the crown. But once the drawing has been completed, cover the watch with your sleeve, or exit the app discreetly.
Now play with your words and reveal what they drew without even staring at the phone.
This is a stunning way of reading their mind!
The name of this app (Doodle Peek) should give you an indication of the method, while the app you see on the home screen will be named Doodle Mania.
