INTENDED PURPOSE JawBuddy is a stand-alone medical device software intended for adult users (≥ 18 years) to support self-management of bruxism, temporomandibular disorders (TMD/CMD), and head-neck myalgia through a structured, exercise-based programme of jaw, facial, and cervical exercises delivered via a mobile application. The device is intended for personal home use by lay users and does not replace professional medical care.
AVAILABILITY & DISCLAIMER JawBuddy complements professional medical care but does not replace it (no diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services). JawBuddy includes a Class I Medical Device (EU 2017/745), a lifestyle program, and a prevention course certified under § 20 SGB V. Access as a medical device is provided through selected B2B partnerships and insured groups.
The AR mouth-opening view is not a diagnostic measuring function under medical device law. It is intended solely for personal progress tracking (values may vary depending on lighting, camera positioning, and device model).
