Added Focus Peaking to help identify sharp areas in your camera preview without affecting saved photos or videos. You can now long-press Action, Histogram, Dual Record, Focus Tracking, or Focus Peaking in the six-dot menu to toggle them on or off. Enabled controls turn blue, and the menu stays open so you can confirm your selections. Updated gallery.

Added a new six-dot camera controls menu with quick access to stabilization, shutter speed, white balance, histogram, and lens aperture and focus tracking on supported devices. Dual Record, Custom Zoom, and Format controls stay synced with Settings, making it easier to adjust photo resolution, video quality, and frame rate without leaving the camera. Also improved manual shutter compatibility.

iOS 27 compatibility while maintaining iOS 26 support, including fixes for launch crashes, black camera previews, landscape selfie orientation, safer camera and audio handling, and more reliable standard and dual-camera startup. Added a 3,5 and 10-second photo timer, improved camera switching, and stronger video-saving protection with failure alerts, automatic Photos fallback, recovery storage, and retry support.

Improved the zoom dial with a more transparent precision-gauge design, stronger haptic feedback, finer number spacing, and smoother control. In landscape, the dial now wraps around the capture button, supports correctly directed vertical vertical adjustments and pinch-to-zoom, stays aligned with the shutter, and automatically disappears after three seconds of inactivity.

Improved video recording reliability with smoother start/stop behavior, consistent framing and focus, better audio/video synchronization, audio on consecutive recordings, faster readiness between clips, improved selfie video saving, cleaner timestamped filenames, and clearer photo-library permission alerts.
