As someone who relies on captions for video calling (no you can’t lip read easily through phones!), I was excited to try InnoCaption’s new app and let me say, I absolutely love it! The captions are clear, the set up is easy, and my calls are easier! It’s much better than Apple’s build in captions which either make the caller’s face small or it block’s the caller’s face. plus you can adjust the text size! Thank you Innocaption for always thinking of DHH individuals’ needs!

I’ll admit it… I rarely want to use the phone. I’d much rather email, text, or FaceTime.But the caption accuracy on FaceTime for iPhones? Not great.THIS though? I’m obsessed.I can use it with any cell carrier, and the captions are honestly 99–100% accurate for me. It makes phone calls feel so much less stressful and exhausting.Definitely my new go-to from now on.

Just like the phone app, this video app for iPhones, iPads, and soon Android devices offers FREE captioning that is paid for by FCC relay funding. It’s secure and by a company that can be trusted. InnoCaption continues to innovate. The company truly cares as with the original InnoCaption app, it isn’t something they just “set and forget”. They also launched into the workplace and solved a pain point with workplace calls by introducing Bridge, which is another free solution offering high quality captions for any workplace phone or solution! I’m so impressed.

I was unable to download the app on my Samsung mobile phone. I got an error message in the Play Store saying my device was not compatible with the app. My software was up to date.
