Rigline 2.0: a redesigned app, weedline forecasts out to 48 hours, and ranked offshore and inshore hotspots with the reasons behind every score.
Rigline reads the water so you spend less time searching and more time fishing. It turns satellite and ocean-model data into ranked hotspots, weedline forecasts and bite windows for offshore and inshore water, refreshed through the day.
Offshore hotspots
• Up to 30 ranked hotspots in each of 25 regions: the East Coast from Maine to Florida, the Gulf, the Pacific coast, Hawaii and Mexico
• Every score explained, with the top three drivers today, a trend and how many runs in a row a spot has held
• Coordinates in degrees and decimal minutes, copied with one tap
• Species modes for mahi, wahoo, yellowfin and bluefin tuna, albacore, blue, white and striped marlin, sailfish and daytime swordfish, plus ahi and ono in Hawaii
• Focus on canyons and the shelf edge, the Gulf Stream, or plumes and dirty water
Ocean charts
• Water temp, temp anomaly, sea height, currents, depth, upwelling, salinity and mixed layer depth on one map
• Animated currents, scored zones, and warm and cold eddies with the Loop Current front
• Long-press anywhere for coordinates, then save the spot
Weedlines
• Likely weedlines where sargassum and current convergence overlap
• Forecasts out to 48 hours on a slider that follows your clock
• A confidence score on every forecast step
Temp breaks
• Sea surface temperature breaks you can save to your phone before you lose signal offshore
Inshore
• Inshore hotspots for Tampa Bay, Chesapeake Bay, Delaware Bay, New York Harbor, Long Island Sound, the St. Johns River, Galveston Bay and San Francisco Bay, plus North Carolina in beta
• Only species that are in season: redfish, snook, speckled trout, flounder, tarpon, striped bass, cobia and more
• Tide-aware spots with the best bite window, a tactic and likely bait for each
• Bite forecast with a daily score, a 7-day outlook and feeding windows by the hour
Intel
• Posts, photos, comments and direct messages from anglers who fish your water
• Community spots: share wrecks, reefs and rigs, and confirm the ones you have fished
• Hundreds of charted wrecks and reefs, with weather, seas, swell and water temp for each
Layers and forecasts show when their data was last updated, so you always know how fresh it is.
Rigline is free. Forecasts are model estimates, not guarantees. Always check official marine forecasts and advisories before you head out.
