Frey Dive 5.0.1 brings a round of polish to your diving suite. • Buy us a coffee: you can now support Frey Dive with a one-time tip from Account. • Certifications: tap a level in your progression to jump straight to its card, and see your other certifications alongside your main path. • A redesigned Premium page that makes it easier to see what is included. • Logbook and Certifications share a cleaner toolbar, with view options and filters lined up in one row. • Support and Feedback in Account is now split into two clearer groups. • Refreshed icons and a lighter header logo in light mode. • Smaller fixes and improvements throughout. Thank you for diving with us.

A brand new Frey Dive, rebuilt from the ground up as a native iPhone app: faster, smoother and designed for the latest iOS.

Dives from the same day now follow their start times in the logbook's grouped view, so an afternoon dive sits above that morning's dive. The Edit, Duplicate and Save buttons now stay pinned at the bottom of the screen while you scroll.

Added iOS 27 support. Bug fixes and improvements, including: • Pull down to refresh on almost every screen: Home, Alerts, dive details, trips, Statistics, Account and more. • Sort your dives by dive date, newest or oldest first. • Grouped by year, your dives now run from the most recent down. • Home shows it is loading until all your data has arrived. • Next and Save take you to what needs fixing. • Press Enter to sign in, sign up or reset your password. • Polish across trips, gear and the add forms on desktop.

Frey Dive 3.0 is our biggest update yet, turning the app into a full diving platform. • Trips with a packing list that builds itself: answer a few questions about how you will dive and Frey Dive writes your checklist. Tick items, or whole sections, as you pack, and see which essentials are still missing. Every trip also has destination info: water temperature, visibility, best season, nearest chamber and plug type. • Your gear, and when it is due for service: log brand, model and serial number, group pieces into kits, and get a heads-up before a service or battery change is due, by months, by dives or both. • Reminders: push notifications before a trip, before your insurance runs out and when it has been a while since your last dive. Never more than one a day. • A new Home: your next trip front and centre and, on a computer, a dashboard of widgets you can switch on and arrange. • A full alerts page, and a quicker + button to add a dive, certification, insurance, trip or gear. • Add only what you need: conditions, gear, buddy, tank and photos are now optional steps. • Insurance warns you a month ahead, turning amber at 30 days and red in the final week. • Dive details open tidier, with your notes first, and the phone header is cleaner. • Plenty of fixes, including better offline behaviour and correct gas labels on tec dives.

New • Entry type: a dive can now record whether you got in from shore, from a boat, or were on a liveaboard. It's optional, it shows on the dive's page, and once you've logged a few it appears as a breakdown in Statistics. • Conditions section: water type and entry type now live in their own optional section when logging a dive, chosen the same way as Gear or Buddy, and both appear on the Review screen before you save. • Gear search: the gear picker now has a search box. It matches English and Spanish names at the same time, accents are optional, and searching a category lists everything in it. • Two new share layouts: Stats and Stats row lead with your numbers instead of the dive site, with the site name underneath as a caption. • Tank pressure on shared cards: include start pressure, end pressure, or both, each with its own gauge. Improved • The Conditions panel on a dive now shows every value while collapsed, air temperature and gas mix included, each with its own icon. • Water temperature and water type share one row, reading together as "26°C Fresh Water". • Salt water is no longer filled in for you. Nothing is stored unless you choose it. • A dive's Details card is now Log Info, holding only when the dive was created and last edited. • Ratings read as whole numbers: "4 / 5" instead of "4.0 / 5". • Accessibility: the tab bar works with a keyboard and says where each tab goes, menu items announce their name, the side menu traps focus and closes with Escape, and Next on the log-a-dive form jumps to the field that needs fixing. • Bigger targets on the menu button, filter switches and dive-card buttons, plus better contrast for hint text and muted labels in both dark and light mode. • Depth, bottom time and temperature bring up the number pad instead of the full keyboard. • Editing a dive: each collapsed section now lists the fields it holds, and sections read as separate cards. • Logbook rows read as labelled stats, with the date carrying a calendar icon and ratings lining up down the list. • A dive on a phone now shows "Logbook › Dive #165" at the top, so there's a way back without the tab bar. • Shared cards mark each reading with an icon and label, and size the readings to how many you include. • Statistics tabs now fit on a narrow screen. • Deleting your account explains what happens to your data. Fixed • Tank pressures entered in PSI are saved exactly as you typed them. 3000 PSI no longer comes back as 3002. • Free account limits are now applied on every screen, including opening a link to a locked dive. • No more strip of the form showing between the Next/Back bar and the tab bar. • Gear counts read "1 item" instead of "1 items". • Unrated dives show "Not rated yet" instead of a row of empty stars.

NEW • Weight feel: record whether your weights felt light, neutral or heavy on each dive, right next to the amount you carried. It shows on the dive details and on your logbook cards, so you can finally spot the pattern across dives instead of guessing at the next shop. • Move between dives: step straight from one dive to the next from the details screen, without going back to the list. • Argentine peso (ARS) is now available as a display currency. IMPROVED • Dive start times now always show in 12-hour format with am/pm. • Dives you haven't rated say "Not rated yet" instead of showing empty stars. • The back arrow on a dive always returns to your logbook, however you opened it. A shared link, a search, or after paging through several dives. • "Log your first dive" at the end of onboarding now opens the dive form. • Shop offers read in Spanish when the app is in Spanish, and we've given the Spanish translations a full pass. FIXED • No more alerts interrupting the onboarding flow. • Alerts no longer appear before your data has finished loading, so you won't be told you have no insurance while it's still on its way. • Onboarding now runs for accounts that never completed it. • Start time no longer shows "?" or "--:--" when it wasn't recorded. • The country name on a shared dive card is now translated. Safe diving. Send us your logbook wishes from Settings. We read every one.
