The real Madani Mushaf, page by page. Read two pages on iPhone Duo, learn the meaning beside the page, and memorize with fading words.
Kalem is a Qur'an app built on one rule: it does not guess.
Read the Qur'an on the real Madani Mushaf, page by page. Ask a question, and Kalem answers only from the Qur'an and its commentary — and shows you the verses the answer came from, so you can open them and check for yourself. When the Qur'an does not address something, Kalem says so plainly instead of inventing an answer.
THE MUSHAF
• Read — the Madani Mushaf: 604 pages, 15 lines, with the same page breaks as your printed copy. Turn the pages like paper. Tap a verse to play from there, save it, share it or open its tafsir.
• Learn — the page and its meaning side by side: every verse with its translation and tafsir. Tap a word to see its meaning.
• Memorize — listen and repeat, then the words fade, step by step, on the real page. Recite from memory, then check yourself. Your progress goes into Hifz.
• Designed for iPhone Duo — open it like a book to read two pages. Stand it half open on a table: the page is on top and the controls are below, so your hands stay free. Fold it, and you keep your page. On iPad, turn it sideways for two pages.
WHAT ELSE IS INSIDE
• Answers with their sources — ask in English, Turkish or French. Every answer cites the verses behind it; tap one to read it in full. No answer without a source.
• Qur'an reader — all 114 surahs with translation, and verse-by-verse tafsir bundled on your device so it works without a signal.
• Prayer times — accurate times for your location with adhan notifications. Choose Standard or Hanafi Asr calculation.
• Qibla — find the direction of the Kaaba from where you are.
• Hadith library — Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan an-Nasa'i, Sunan Abi Dawud and Jami' at-Tirmidhi, browsable by topic and downloadable for offline reading. Gradings appear exactly as the source records them, and are never invented.
• Dhikr counter and home-screen widgets.
• No ads, anywhere.
Kalem is available in English, Turkish and French.
