An off-season maintenance update while we upgrade camp systems. Open the camp website for current information, keep saved offline edits on your device, and install compatible updates when they become available.

Discover Waffles & House: a vibrant Burning Man theme camp built around fresh waffles, house music, creativity, and community. Start an application to join us on the playa. Plus the usual speed and stability updates.

Crash fixes and an easier application form: • The Burn guide no longer crashes when you open an event, camp, or art piece while your offline guide is still catching up. • Setting your birthday on the application is now a date picker instead of typing — no more drafts bounced back over the date format. • Tapping a wafflecamp.com link no longer drops you on a confusing error screen. Plus the usual round of speed and stability updates before the Burn.

Registering your shelter actually works now: • Car, truck, and van shelters can finally be registered — the size fields never appeared for those types, so every attempt bounced back. • Tents, shiftpods, and hexayurts now ask for length, width, and height up front, and RVs pick 30 or 50 amp from a tap — so nothing gets rejected after you hit Create. • Much clearer messages when something does go wrong, instead of confusing technical text. Plus the usual round of speed and stability updates before the Burn.

Fresh new look! Our app icon is now a wall-to-wall disco ball — same sparkle, way more of it. You'll find us easier on your home screen. Also in this update: • Fixed a bug where clearing a profile field could quietly keep the old value — cleared means cleared now. • Under-the-hood updates for speed and stability before the Burn.

Burn planning got a major upgrade: • Browse the complete 2026 schedule offline with faster loading, search, day counts, time-of-day sections, and reliable date navigation. • Star events, camps, and art; filter to Starred or Our camp only; explore a real Black Rock City map. • Improved shift calendar syncing and fixed several Burn tab crashes and sync issues.

The Camp Directory got a real glow-up. Tap anyone to open their full-screen profile, and tap a photo to see it full size. You can also edit the years you've attended right from your own profile now. A bunch of fixes came along too: - Documents in the Resources tab open properly - The Days-to-Burn countdown points at the right date - Signing in is steadier — no more random network or session hiccups after the app's been sitting in the background - Squashed a crash that could hit during an over-the-air update We also moved everything onto the latest app framework under the hood, so things should feel a little quicker and more stable across the board.

Tap a wafflecamp.com link and we'll take you straight there in the app — no more browser detour. 1.0.2 brings deep links, push notifications, and a faster way to find your campmates. New • Open wafflecamp.com links and signup flows directly in the app. • Push notifications for camp announcements and shelter invites. Improved • Adding a campmate to your shelter: member search now scrolls through the full crew instead of stopping at the first page. • Only the invite button you tapped shows a spinner — no more spinning rows. Fixed • Reliability fixes across deep linking and the shelter screens.

Bug fixes & improvements: • Fixed transport mode options not showing the correct choices during profile setup • Fixed stale transport mode values persisting from older profiles • Improved error message when sign-in fails due to a network connection issue • Fixed a bug where tapping "Sign in with Google" multiple times could start overlapping sessions • The "Resend code" button now shows a cooldown timer to prevent duplicate sends • The sync/refresh button in Burn is now hidden for non-admin members • Error messages in Burn detail now reflect what specifically went wrong, rather than a generic error • When an auto-save fails, you'll now see a specific error with a retry option instead of a silent failure
