Series 1 player: Love the concept of the record player playing real music, unfortunately the sound quality is really bad. Hard on the ears and scared the cats 😅 hopefully the next series is improved

This app has a purpose and it seems that folks don’t understand how to use it.First, connect your record player via Bluetooth. Once it’s connected, you will get a menu to download Series 1 through 5. We currently have series 1 out in stores. Then, when you buy future vinyls (we have 21 out currently - 20 from blind packs, 1 from the starter kit) you place the vinyl on your turntable, and it should play.On the back of your vinyl you will find a barcode that reads SX-YYYX is the series, Y is the number in the series. The starter kit Beethoven CD is S1-000 - Blink 182’s What’s my age again is S1-020, Imagine dragons has S1-007In the future, say you got a future S2 Vinyl, it will flash red and green light on your record player because it does not have the song software.I suggest that users read the included “read me first” manual included with their MGA Miniverse Real Music Record Player before commenting.

My husband got the record player set for me as a "just because" gift and I love it! We have a little cabinet where we store some mini figs and now it looks like they have their own little studio :) I'm a little puzzled on why so many people are confused with this app? Just make sure you have the record player (pair it with the bluetooth first), add the physical record onto the player, and it works smoothly.

The instructions make it seem like you somehow scan the barcodes of the records you get, and that adds to some collection. In reality all this app does is update the record player with new songs. For anyone who doesn’t know, the “records” don’t contain any actual music, just a little RFID the player reads. The player then plays the song associated with that song. But they’re all in the player already. The app exists to update the player as they release new series of records down the line. That’s all.
