See where your data stands. A new Data Protection screen in Settings shows your iCloud account and sync status, the latest sync activity, and how many expenses and budgets are on this device. Also in this update: • Recurring expenses now appear every month on the same day as the original, fill in any months you didn't open the app, and show their next date in the Recurring list • Expenses switched to recurring while editing now repeat too • Monthly History no longer slides sideways when you scroll it • Receipt attachments and budget rollover now sync reliably across your devices

Pro is now available. One purchase unlocks it for good: Spending Analysis, receipt scanning, period comparison, your full monthly history, budget status on your Home and Lock Screen, and rolling leftover budget into next month.

Spending analysis, on your device. Pro now reads back your month or year in plain words: where the money went, what changed, an unusually large charge, a subscription you never marked as recurring. Ask it a question and it answers from your own numbers. It runs on Apple Intelligence on your device, so nothing is uploaded and nothing goes to an AI company. Also in this release: • Choose what a tapped suggestion fills in. Category and amount now come along with the description, and Settings decides which. • Cards have real contrast in Dark Mode. • The trend chart counts every expense again. Longer ranges used to drop most of them, so the line never added up to the total above it. • All Time now means all time, instead of quietly stopping at three years. • Chart labels no longer overlap, at any text size.

Schedule payments ahead. Paying next month's rent early? Pick a future date when you log the expense and SimpleSelfBudget counts it toward next month's budget — not this one. Upcoming payments wait in their own section on the All Expenses screen until their month arrives. Everything you already use stays free.

Two ways to log faster. Scan a receipt and SimpleSelfBudget fills in the amount, date, and merchant for you — or attach a photo to any expense, like a warranty card or the thing you bought. Receipts sync privately through your own iCloud. (Pro) You can also log hands-free now: tell Siri "Log $12 for lunch in Food" from the Action Button, Lock Screen, or Shortcuts. Everything you already use stays free.
