A friend of mine sent me an invite to this app, and I was really excited when I found out about it. I’ve been using Dice World since April of 2013, and when I first started, it was still fairly new. I don’t remember exactly how old it was at the time, but I think it only had Farkle and Yahtzee in the beginning. It grew over time, and I would love to see that happen with this app too—adding more card games and continuing to expand. This is really the first accessible card game experience like this that we’ve had.Truly accessible apps—ones that both blind and sighted people can use comfortably—are still pretty rare. That’s part of why I’m so excited about where this could go.As soon as my fiancé and I found out about it, we paid for it right away. Personally, I don’t find the price of around $4 a month expensive. We already pay for Dice World, and for us it’s worth it. First, we don’t want to deal with ads, and second, ads can get in the way of the experience. But more importantly, we want to support developers who take accessibility seriously. This developer has done a great job with Dice World over the years, especially when it comes to fixing accessibility issues quickly whenever something breaks. That matters, and it’s something I’m willing to support.I’ve seen some people say, “Well, you can’t really do a lot with it yet.” And sure, it’s a new app—but honestly, for something this new, I think it already offers quite a bit. I’ve been pretty impressed with what’s there so far.I would definitely recommend this app. Whether you’re blind or sighted, if you enjoy card games, this is a great place to start—and I think it’s already a home run. Go give it a try. I don’t think you’ll regret it.
Thank you for such a generous review. I really appreciate the trust from Dice World players, and I am excited to keep growing Card World with more games and improvements.
