St. Matthew Baptist Church is a ministry founded on biblical principles. We serve in the spirit of excellence with integrity and compassion for our community. Our church is known for reaching out to the lost and brokenhearted, serving them with dignity, respect, and love. We are recognized for our zeal for God and our dedication to spiritual growth, while fostering a caring environment that encourages participation, personal fulfillment, and strong leadership.
Our Mission
We strive to be a Christ-centered, Word-focused, and ministry-minded church—because it’s all about Jesus Christ. Our goal is to equip and mobilize men, women, and children to transform our city, county, and state—one person at a time.
“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.”
— Colossians 3:23 (KJV)
