Snacks is hyperlocal news, reimagined. No endless scroll. No national noise. Just the stories, weather, and happenings in your town -- delivered as short, swipeable cards you can finish over a coffee.
We started in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and we're rolling out to more mountain towns and tight-knit communities. Every "snack" is curated from
trusted local publishers, public social posts, and community sources, with clear attribution on every card.
WHAT'S INSIDE
Today -- a daily digest of what's happening right now: top stories, current weather, road conditions, snow report, and tonight's events.
The Feed -- Modern-style vertical swipes through the day's snacks. Tap once to dig deeper, swipe up for the next one. Built to be finished, not doom-scrolled.
Ask Snacks -- a local AI concierge you can talk to. Tap the mic and ask out loud:
"How are the roads?"
"Where should I eat tonight?"
"Anything fun this weekend?"
Ask Snacks answers only from local content -- news, weather, traffic, events, dining, and community posts for your town. No off-topic rambles, no hallucinations about places that don't exist.
Weather & Roads -- live local conditions, 7-day outlook, and a real-time road map with closures, incidents, and chain laws.
Snow Report -- daily resort updates, new snowfall, base depth, and lift status during winter.
Events -- what's on tonight, this weekend, and coming up -- concerts, festivals, community gatherings, and more.
Alerts -- opt-in push notifications for breaking local news and weather emergencies. Off by default; you choose what you want to hear about.
WHY SNACKS
National news apps don't know your town. Local news websites are buried in ads and paywalls. Facebook groups are chaos. Snacks is the calm, curated middle: a
single place to catch up on where you actually live, in five minutes or less.

You don't need an account to use Snacks. Location is used only to surface your local stream and weather, and you can deny it -- we'll default to Jackson Hole. We don't sell your data. Ever.
