Screens now resize correctly when your display changes size, for example when you unfold a foldable iPhone. We also added crash reporting, so if something goes wrong we hear about it and can fix it faster.

Scan recipes for free: you now get 5 free recipe scans every month. The scan button shows how many you have left. Premium still includes unlimited scans.

The upgrade screen now lists exactly what Premium includes, and the privacy policy and terms name the AI provider that reads your recipe scans (Anthropic). Prep sheets: a custom multiplier above 25x is now capped with a clear message, instead of quietly showing 25x amounts.

Accuracy fixes: - Amounts stay exact when you don't scale: 1/4 tsp stays 1/4 tsp. - Scaled amounts round to real kitchen fractions (thirds and eighths) and never round down to zero. - Costing no longer guesses when units can't be converted; the ingredient shows as unpriced instead. - Yield % is now included in cost. - Price matching keeps colours apart (black pepper is not green pepper). - Very large scales now show when they are capped.

Links that open ChefScale from other apps now land where they should. This version also adds anonymous usage statistics, so we can see which features help you most. Nothing is tied to your identity and nothing is used for tracking. The privacy page in the app lists exactly what is collected.

Compatibility updates for the latest version of iOS, an updated payments library, and a fix for links opened from other apps.

Fixes a costing error. When an ingredient's saved price was in a unit the recipe line could not be converted into, the app multiplied the numbers anyway and showed a cost built from mismatched units. That line now shows as unpriced and is left out of the recipe total, so the cost you see is the cost it can actually account for.

Importing from MyCookbook now works reliably: the handoff travels a route iOS allows, with a one-tap paste confirmation. The recipes export row in Settings now names its destinations.

Sharing recipes to MenuCraft or MyCookbook now opens the right app on iOS instead of a generic share sheet. Fixes a bug where a network hiccup at launch could hide an active subscription until the next successful sync.

ChefScale now runs natively on iPad — scale recipes, cost plates, and run cook mode at full 13-inch size. Plus minor fixes and copy polish.
