Small checks can make the map better for everyone. Meet Contribution Inbox, a new home for nearby places that need a photo, signage check, or fresh confirmation. Each business appears once with its available tasks, and the Contribute tab badge shows how many places need help. “Add a Place” is still available, and the inbox refreshes after you submit a contribution.

This update makes contributing and connecting easier: • Submit new businesses from anywhere—distance is no longer a barrier. • Take photos with the in-app camera when you’re within 300 feet to earn a “Taken at the business” label. • Upload photos from your library at any distance, labeled “Uploaded from the gallery.” • Join the new public community chat to share information and connect with other users. • Improved photo privacy—exact location data and photo metadata are not uploaded.
