CINERA Scout
Professional Location Scouting for Film & Television
CINERA Scout is the field tool built for location professionals. Capture, document, and deliver production-ready location packages from anywhere — no signal required.
The complete scouting workflow, in one place
Photograph locations with automatic GPS tagging and real-time sun position calculation. Log environmental conditions, terrain, accessibility, and logistics. Organize everything by project and deliver structured reports directly to your location manager — without leaving the app.
Offline-first, always
Shoot in a dead zone, work a remote ranch, drive through the mountains. CINERA Scout stores everything locally and syncs the moment you reconnect — photos, reports, and location data included.
Know your zones
Toggle union jurisdiction overlays directly on the map — boundaries visible at a glance, so you know what you're walking into before production asks.
Deliver to production instantly
The moment you sync, your location folders appear on the CINERA web platform for location managers and production to review. Organized, structured, and ready — no emailing drives, no Dropbox chaos.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Sync & reliability
* Fixed duplicate photos appearing after capture.
* Field edits, captures, and deletes made offline are no longer silently lost — failed uploads are held and retried, and you can force a retry with pull-to-refresh.
* Fixed a bug where syncing could overwrite edits you'd made but not yet uploaded.
* Video recording now warns you if a clip can't be saved (e.g. device storage full) instead of failing quietly.
Messages & alerts
* The unread alert badge now stays accurate and clears correctly after you read alerts.
* Fixed a messaging thread issue that could build up in the background over time.
Privacy
* Tightened profile data access so other users' contact details are no longer exposed to the app.
