BookNest is now Shelf of Mind. New name, new look, same library. • A new icon and a quieter, editorial design. • The antilibrary: your unread books get a count and a year. • Add faster: scan many barcodes in a row, add books from one shelf photo, or find a book by its cover. • Places: home, office, rooms, bookcases and shelves. Place many books at once. • Owned, wish list, borrowed or once owned. "Do I own this?" checks a barcode in the bookshop. • Follow readers, see what they add, and mark a post as Noted. • Borrow requests, only if you turn them on and only between readers who follow each other. • Return dates for lent books, with a quiet reminder. • Why it stays: one line per book on why you keep it. • Home screen widgets, Siri and Spotlight. • Who sees your library: Only me (the default), Approved followers or Everyone. With Approved followers, readers ask and you approve. • Visitors see your books. Lending names, return dates, "gift from", "borrowed from", inscriptions and notes stay private to you. Reading status is not shown on the web page. • Each library has its own web page at shelfofmind.com/u/yourname. • Batch scanning tells you what happened with every barcode: added, already on the list, already in your library, not found, or not a book barcode. The camera reads barcodes held close. • One Share button on the home card. The home screen follows dark mode. • Select all selects the filtered list, with an "X of Y selected" count. • The Journal: essays on reading, owning and keeping. Pro has room for all of them.
