Swiping shows Like, Pass or Favorite as you drag a card, and you can pull down to refresh any tab. Our Names compares everyone's tastes side by side, and when you share your code you choose whether someone joins as your partner or as a friend. Settings now has Terms, Privacy and a Contact us form. Signing up and upgrading are smoother too.

Search is smarter: names that sound like the one you typed are labeled, and each name's page now lists the names said the same way. Ranking rounds are 10 quick picks with a summary at the end, and the Popular badge reflects names popular today.

Browse now lets you pick a filter to narrow names, with Premium able to combine filters, sort by your taste and hide names you've already swiped; plus improved reliability behind the scenes.

Faster to the first name: the deck now shows a name the moment the app opens, and it stays put -- no more card that changes on its own a few seconds in. Every name card now includes its cultural context and associations, including the very first one. Fixed a blank screen when opening My Circle, My Names or Rank from a link. Faster first name. Opening the app now gets you to your first swipe in about a second instead of several. Your insights in My Names now refresh when you've actually swiped enough for them to change, rather than on a timer — and they're powered by a newer, smarter model. You can like, dislike or favorite a name from any list, not just the swipe deck. Fixes: boys' names showed the wrong colour on name pages, shared links previewed with the wrong title and image, and several smaller polish items.

Faster start-up: the app now goes straight from the splash screen to your first name instead of showing several loading screens. Fixed a bug where pressing the more-options button on a list and dragging would freeze the screen instead of scrolling. Fixed match notifications, which could not be delivered on some devices. Matches, the moment they happen. • Notifications: when someone likes a name you already liked, you'll know. Previously only the second person to like it ever found out. • Friend matches now celebrate right in the deck, not just partner ones — and a partner match looks unmistakably different from a friend's. • Names your partner or friends liked are no longer flagged before you swipe, so your reaction stays your own and a match actually means something. You can switch the hints back on in Profile → Swiping. • Our Names has been rebuilt around your partner instead of your invite code. • One match at a time instead of a pile of them. • Name suggestions load several times faster. Fixes for getting started, plus a much better name feed. • Names you actually see: the feed now leans on names in current use for your baby's gender, instead of drifting into the deep end of the name list. If you love rare, unusual names, keep swiping — Nomi learns that and opens the tail back up for you. • The first name no longer changes by itself a few seconds after you open the app. • Removing a favourite now actually removes it. • Downloading your list as CSV or JSON works on iPhone, and saves through the share sheet. • Upgrading works again.
