WHAT REEL LOG DOES
Log a catch in under a minute. Tap the species, drop in your length or weight, pick your technique, set the depth, structure, and water clarity. Add notes if you want. Hit save. That's it.
The killer feature: tap "Auto-fill Weather" and Reel Log grabs your air temp, sky condition, wind speed and direction, barometric pressure, and baro trend straight from your GPS location. No API key. No setup. Just real conditions, recorded automatically.
The "Same Setup" button lets you log multiples in seconds when you're on a hot bite — perfect for crappies through the ice or a topwater morning when smallmouth are crushing.
MATCH TODAY
Open Patterns and tap "Match Today." Reel Log pulls current weather and shows you which techniques, depths, and structures have produced fish in conditions just like right now. It widens the search if recent data is thin so you always get something useful.

Headed out with the crew? Create a trip, share the six-character code, and everyone joins from their own phone. All catches roll up into a live leaderboard with biggest fish, top species, and most productive technique. Every trip catch automatically saves to each angler's personal log too.
FRIENDS
Add fishing buddies by username. In Patterns, switch to "Friends + Me" to combine data and see what's working across the whole crew. Toggle individual friends on or off to compare or isolate. Tap any friend in the Friends tab to see their catches and highlights.
