We have fixed a major bug with the watch GPS - it now stays open and is working great! Good luck out there on the course!

We have added Course Maps :)

CHIP Live is now a more active, social golf room. This update adds a cleaner Live Feed, a refreshed Stakes Room, smoother live stake cards, and a room chat built for chirps, replies, reactions, trivia, and real-time round moments. CHIP now does a better job following the action, posting stakes, reacting to score changes, and keeping the round more entertaining as you play. Also included: Improved Live Room formatting and readability Better stake and trivia card layouts Cleaner player detail and follow views Refined chat replies, reactions, and room presence Better spacing around the live chat composer Updated navigation with Blog in the bottom bar Visual polish across Profile, Round, Games, and Live screens Bug fixes and performance improvements for live scoring and stakes updates

Apple Watch GPS is here, and it is built for the round. With this release, Chip brings live course GPS right to your wrist. See front, center, and back yardages at a glance, get smarter club suggestions from your synced bag, check wind speed and direction, and move through your round without constantly pulling out your phone. You can now choose nearby courses, switch holes, track shot distances, enter scores, adjust putts, and finish or cancel a round directly from Apple Watch. Chip also keeps your watch, iPhone, and cloud round in sync so your game stays moving from tee box to green. This is a big step toward making Chip feel like a true caddie on your wrist. Fire it up, lock in your yardage, and go flag hunting.

Added a profile privacy setting so golfers can opt out of showing in Nearby Players. Updated Nearby Players to show first name plus masked email, so users can identify people without exposing full emails. Added Blog to the iOS bottom nav, placed last after Courses. Built the iOS Blog screen with latest posts, article detail view, image support, refresh behavior, and nicer reading layout. Fixed blog refresh so it cache-busts, sorts newest posts first, and pulls fresh published blogs from the backend. Cleaned up Profile Rounds so scorecards and linked game rounds are labeled more clearly. Preserved group-game metadata on scorecard rounds, so game-linked rounds can open the correct game when available. Improved Game History behavior for archived games: archived games now show a clear message instead of trying to open live scoring. Added status labels like Game Round, LIVE, HISTORY, and ARCHIVED to reduce confusion.

This update introduces a refreshed CHiP experience with improved Profile, Wallet, Games, and Live Round screens. You can now manage your bag, track chips, view game history and records, join or create group games, and follow live scoring, boards, and stake settlement more clearly. We also polished the interface throughout for a smoother App Store-ready experience.

Improved scorecard review, group game reliability, and player privacy. Added in-app scorecard photo review with full-screen viewing, pinch zoom, pan, and double-tap zoom. Kept scorecard review inside Chip instead of opening photos in an external browser. Saved uploaded scorecard images with round and group game records for future audit/review. Added round details with hole-by-hole scoring and attached scorecard photo access. Improved group game stake entry with a Done action on the number keyboard. Added player email masking in group game search and roster views. Improved recovery after server restarts to reduce stuck calls, chats, player adds, and game actions. Added backend restart detection and automatic app refresh/reconnect handling.
