Thanks for your feedback! Kids can now claim recurring jobs again when they become available, even if an earlier claim is still waiting for approval. Each completion has its own date, making it easier for parents to review and approve claims separately. Recurring jobs now follow your family’s home timezone. We’ve also made the Jobs and transaction screens easier to read, with clearer completion dates, claim statuses and approval buttons. Please make sure both parent and family devices are updated for the new recurring job claims to work fully.

Kids’ home screens now show recent transactions, jobs they can claim and more wishlist goals, with quick links to the full lists. We’ve also improved iPad layouts and made family devices handle changes to your household’s kids more smoothly. Remember, kids can use FamilyPocket on their own device or share a family device—no kid email address or login needed. Download the app on another device, then connect it using the invite code in Settings → Add Family Devices. Already connected? Use “Add another kid” to choose more kids for that device without signing out or entering the invite code again.

This update adds clearer guidance during the app walk-through around viewing transactions, easier-to-find settings, and improvements to opening balances when adding a child. We've also fixed an issue with automatic allowances to make these more robust in the future, and applied a fix for missing transactions where appropriate. We’ve listened to your feedback! Parents can now choose their household’s currency symbol in Settings, with it displayed consistently across balances, jobs, allowances, transactions and wishlists. This update also adds recent activity to the main screen as an option, makes Settings editing smoother, improves support for long names and large balances, and includes a range of polish and accessibility improvements throughout the app.

We've listened to your feedback! Parents can now pay a completed job directly from their own device, adding the amount to a child's FamilyPocket balance—no child claim required. The existing flow where a child claims a job and a parent approves it remains available, giving families two ways to handle jobs. This update also includes refinements and improvements throughout the app.
