Biomechanical Data Tracker for Strength Training
**IMPORTANT: ElasticBand requires the companion WBR-SH2 hardware sensor to function. The app cannot record data without an active Bluetooth connection to one or more WBR-SH2 devices.**
ElasticBand is a professional-grade iOS and iPadOS application designed for sports scientists, physiotherapists, and strength training researchers. Paired with the WBR-SH2 companion hardware, it provides an intuitive interface for acquiring, visualising, and exporting high-frequency biomechanical data during elastic band exercises.
Designed for rigorous experimental workflows, ElasticBand handles everything from multi-sensor synchronization to trial logging and CSV data export. Whether you are tracking peak force, repetition speed, or general biomechanical signals, ElasticBand streamlines the entire data acquisition process.
## Key Features
- **WBR-SH2 Hardware Integration**: Seamlessly connect to multiple WBR-SH2 sensors simultaneously via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
- **Live Data Visualisation**: Monitor high-frequency data streams (up to 200 Hz) with live scrolling graphs for both accelerometer and load cell force.
- **Experiment Management**: Built-in tracking for Subject, Trial, and Repetition numbers to keep your experimental data perfectly organized.
- **Sensor Calibration**: Easily calibrate and zero the load cell force directly from the app dashboard.
- **Multi-Device Sync**: Configure data rates and synchronize streaming across all connected sensors with a single tap.
- **Seamless CSV Export**: Export merged data from multiple sensors directly to iOS share sheets, iCloud, or Google Drive for downstream analysis.
- **iPad Optimized**: Fully supports iPadOS with a dedicated two-column layout for an expanded view of your data and experimental parameters.
## Hardware Requirement
To use this application, you must possess the **WBR-SH2** hardware sensor. The app uses Bluetooth to connect to this device and log its sensor data.
