We’ve fixed bugs and improved performance for a smoother Paint Match experience. Thanks for playing!

This maintenance update refreshes the libraries that power PaintFox.

We’ve been fine-tuning PaintFox to make finding your next paint match feel a little easier: - Steadier camera readings, with less jumping between similar paint matches. - Clearer match descriptions, plus a heads-up when a reading is approximate or several shades are close. - Better camera guidance to help you step back, frame more of the room, and capture more reliable colors. - A new full-screen color view — give your favorite shade the whole screen. - More local paint brands to explore: welcome, Flügger, KCC, Oikos, San Marco, and Flexa! Remember, friends don’t let friends live with “almost the right color.”

We’ve received a ton of helpful feedback lately, and we’ve been busy turning it into improvements: - Our matching algorithm now lets you know when to adjust your lighting first for a more accurate paint match. - New ways to visualize and browse paints to help you find inspiration. - Combine multiple color families to find the perfect shade of pink, orange, or anything in between. - Palettes are now more fun to create and explore. - As always, we’ve added more local paint brands — welcome, Apla and Savana! - And you may have noticed a new name — Paint Match is now PaintFox Remember, friends don’t let friends live with “almost the right color.”

Room Scan got a sharper eye. We’ve improved how it reads wall colors across shadows and changing light, keeping every captured shade paired with the right paint match. The result: more reliable matches and suggestions that better reflect the room in front of you. Remember, friends don’t let friends paint an entire wall without testing first.
