Match identical tiles to clear the board, one stack at a time. No timers, no streaks, no daily-login pressure — just you, the tiles, and the soft sound of a temple bell when a pair lifts off the table.
Thirteen hand-crafted boards
Pyramid, Tower XL, Cross, Dragon, Heart, Torii Gate, Lotus, Theatre Fan, Bridge, Crown, Mountain Range, Tumbled Heap, plus the classic Stepped Pyramid and Tutorial. Each layout sits at its own difficulty notch, from a quick five-minute round to a focused half-hour session.
Build your own
Pick a shape (Pyramid, Tower, Cross, Diamond), set the width, depth, and number of layers — MahjongZen generates a fair, solvable board on the spot.
Crafted for iPhone
Native 3D rendering in RealityKit. Liquid Glass interface throughout. Pinch to zoom, drag to rotate, tap to play. Subtle haptics, an unobtrusive match chime, and ukiyo-e–inspired art direction down to the tile glyphs.
Free and Pro
Play the core game free, with ads on roughly every third new game (skipped entirely if you've just started — we never ad-bomb new players). MahjongZen Pro is a one-time purchase that removes every ad, unlocks all premium layouts, and opens the full custom-board range.

Best-time leaderboards per layout. Six achievements to chase. No accounts, no servers — Apple handles it.
Privacy first
Your gameplay stays on your device. The cross-promotion manifest, ads, and leaderboards are the only things that touch the network, and gameplay works perfectly fine offline.
