Type "How much did I spend on restaurants last month?" and Kibo answers with the total and the expenses behind it.
Your month at a glance
Tap your monthly total for a day-by-day calendar, your most expensive day, your daily average, your income and how you compare with last month. When the month ends, Kibo tells it as a short story.
Know where your money goes
Categories shows what you have spent in each one this month, how that compares with last month and what is left of its budget.
No surprises from fixed costs
Netflix, the gym, rent: every repeating payment in one place, with what it costs per month and per year. Kibo reminds you before each renewal and spots repeating payments so you can add them in one tap.

A calmer home: "October balance" on one line and a single pill that steps through your forecast, what's left after bills, your week and today. Tap it to open what it shows.
Tap a monthly income on Income to change the amount, source or payday, pause it or stop repeating it. Before payday, Income shows what's still coming.
In your first week, on a day with nothing logged yet, the home offers up to three one-tap expenses, your own first.
Leave your first expense halfway and Kibo keeps it as a ticket you can finish when you come back.
The recap card on the home opens the summary of its day, week or month.
Your Premium week now gives you a heads-up from 3 days before it ends. If your Apple ID still has the App Store's 7-day trial, you can start it right there and see what happens each day: nothing to pay today, a reminder 2 days before, and the first charge on day 7.
New artwork for the Kibo, Nara and Shiro icons.
Fixes: if you already pay through the App Store, the Premium trial week no longer shows up; an expired or refunded subscription no longer shows as Premium; an expense saved while the home is loading shows up right away; home notices switch to dark mode properly; and category images load faster.
1.0.32 Oct 21
Seven new icons in Profile > App icon > Specials: Catrina, Glass, Coins, Lucky cat, Midnight, Pumpkin and Mint.
From October 26 to 31, the Kibo icon dresses up as a pumpkin, then switches back on its own. It only changes if you use the default icon.
Logging income is faster: your last incomes show up as shortcuts, and on payday Kibo asks if you've been paid.
Log almost every day and Kibo celebrates the habit and shows you what Premium adds.
If your Apple ID still has the 7-day trial, Premium walks you through it: you start today, Kibo reminds you on day 5 and the first charge comes on day 7. The reminder needs notifications on.
Premium now opens on your month: how many expenses you've logged, your receipts and the days you logged this week.
If your reminders arrive quietly, Kibo offers to show them on screen when you come back another day.
Fixes: a purchase waiting for a parent's approval now says so, Premium no longer flips back to Free for a moment after you buy, two rare crashes are gone and your session is more secure.
1.0.31 Oct 21
A new Categories screen: each category shows its picture, with your budget as a ring around it. Tap one to see how the month compares with your usual, day by day, with every expense.
A Categories widget for your Home Screen and Lock Screen: the month's total and your top categories with their rings.
An expense's detail tells you if it's more or less than usual, shows its history and repeats it in one tap. Spaces now open like an album.
On Sunday evenings, Kibo writes you a short review of your week. And "After bills" shows what's left once your fixed expenses are paid.
1.0.29 Oct 18
One card on Home: between Frequent and your expenses, you only see the one that matters today. Tips wait until you log something, and the X closes them.
Your month in Kibo: on the first three days of each month, Home offers last month's story, with the days you logged and where the money went.
Under your total you can see where the month will end. Tap it to open the summary.
When Kibo reminds you of a usual expense, like your coffee, one button logs it. Budget texts now match how much room you have left.
1.0.28 Oct 14
Ask Kibo: type "How much did I spend on Uber in September?" in search and Kibo answers from your expenses.
New app icons: a coin cat for every colour, plus a receipt. Pick yours in Profile > App icon.
When a month ends, Kibo tells it as a short story. If you log every day, Frequent logs your usual expenses with one tap. And Split shares an expense between several people.
In any category, "See all expenses" shows everything you logged there, month by month.
1.0.27 Oct 12
Reach the monthly limit and your expense is no longer lost. It waits on your phone and logs itself on the 1st, or right away with Premium. The limit screen shows your month in numbers and, when the App Store offers it, 7 days of Premium free.
"Save, add another" saves the expense and starts the next one without closing the sheet.
A faster first day: your three most repeated expenses show up as shortcuts on the amount step, and onboarding lets you log several expenses in a row.
Fixed: an expense you add inside a Space at the limit stays in the sheet instead of being lost.
1.0.26 Oct 9
New Premium screens. Each one starts with what you just ran into, shows the real price for your plan and lists what Premium adds, with your own numbers and a picture for each feature.
Clearer charges. "Free" only shows when the App Store confirms you can still get the free trial, and a purchase without one says the charge is today.
Your plan card in Profile follows your first expenses and suggests what to try first.
Fixed: on an expense logged by a saved place, tapping the place opens it from every screen, including a Space.
1.0.25 Oct 7
New: Savings. Set a goal and watch its jar fill as you add money, by hand or every week or month.
New month summary. Tap your monthly total on the home to see what you spent, a day-by-day calendar, where the money went, your income and your spaces.
Pick one of nine colour themes in Profile > Appearance. Profile also has a new layout, with your plan and settings in one place.

1.0.24 Oct 5
New: a "Log 3 expenses" checklist on the home for your first week, and an evening reminder on days you haven't logged anything yet.
Suggested budgets. Kibo looks at what you spend and suggests budgets for your categories. Add one with a tap, or raise it when a category keeps going over.
Expenses a place logged for you now show a pin, and "Logged at" in the detail opens that place. If you turn location off, Kibo pauses your places and helps you turn it back on.
Also: the renewal card shows the subscription's picture, and greyed-out buttons are easier to read. Plus bug fixes.
1.0.23 Sep 30
New: Location expenses. Save a spot like a toll or a car park with what you usually pay there. When you arrive, Kibo logs the expense or reminds you to. You'll find it in Profile.
Categories has a new look. Pick a month and your categories line up by spend. Open one for Months, Trend and By day charts.
Insights now uses square cards. Switch between This month, Week and 3 months, and see your spending as bars, a line or a running total.
More motion: amounts roll as they change, new expenses light up, and taps give a light haptic.

Upcoming charges goes past 30 days, and each subscription can have its own currency. Plus bug fixes.

Premium now leads with the limit you actually reached instead of a generic pitch, and your first category budget is free.
Invite a friend and you both get a month of Premium.
Confirm buttons wear the app's own colour again rather than the system blue they had fallen back to.
The home opens on your month total, and opening a transaction shows the part worth opening: where that merchant fits in your month.
1.0.21 Sep 20
Change a transaction's currency from its detail: tap the amount, then the currency chip under it. Kibo re-converts the row into your currency at that day's rate, so your totals follow.
Also in this release: 53 currencies in the add flow, duplicated expenses fixed, and the add sheet opening in the right currency.
1.0.20 Sep 17

1.0.19 Sep 16
Pay once with Lifetime and keep Kibo for good. The upgrade screen now lays the plans out side by side so you can see what each one costs.
