NEW: The August 12 solar eclipse. See the eclipse as it looks from where you are, with the true coverage and the true angle. Tap the disc to follow it across the sky. NEW: A long press changes the measurement. Press and hold a day row or an hour row to change between Temperature and Chance of Rain. Set the hold length in Settings. NEW: Astronomy card. The Sun and Moon cards become one card. A sky path chart plots both bodies across the day and marks each rise and set with its time. A moon visibility chart shows the hours the moon is up across the next four phases. Meteor showers get a night bar that names the best hours to look. NEW: Rain hour by hour. Each day in the Chance of Rain list now carries a strip of two-hour slots. The bars show how much rain falls and when it falls, on one scale across every day. Drag across the strip to read any slot. NEW for Standard: NWS reports. A new tile shows the severe storm risk for your location from the Storm Prediction Center, and reads "All clear" when there is none. Open it for the local forecast discussion, the zone forecast, and the storm outlook. Tap a storm outlook map to zoom, then swipe between days. NEW for Ultra: Get an alert when the NWS puts out a new report. Choose which products you want. Also in this release: - Free Look on the radar. See the live radar before you subscribe. - Drag to reorder the data cards on the main screen. - New widgets: a Now and Hourly medium widget and an extra-large iPad size. Any widget can show Feels Like. - A push notification when we reply to your message. - Rain detail opens on the 72-hour window. - Notification taps open the correct screen. - The hourly rows show the rain amount, and the header shows the next rain time. - The rain Live Activity starts by itself. - The drought card explains how the status is found.

NEW for Ultra: Weekly rain target. Set a weekly rainfall goal for your garden, lawn, or fields and see progress at a glance: rain that already fell this week plus what's forecast over the next 3 days. Tap "Next 3 days" for each day's expected amount and likelihood. NEW: Hour-by-hour rain history. The 72 hour view now charts rainfall for every hour across all three days, and readings show the day alongside the time. NEW for Ultra: Soil moisture and a regional dryness index on the Drought tile, plus how much rain has fallen since the official drought map was drawn, so you can tell when conditions are turning before the map catches up. IMPROVED: The Rain card opens to the past week, the rain calendar moved to the bottom where it is easier to browse, and the time range slider no longer changes accidentally while you scroll. NEW: Help & Support now opens a direct chat with the team. Questions, bug reports, ideas: we usually reply within a day.

NEW: Drought status. A dedicated Drought tile shows the official U.S. Drought Monitor category for your location, with a dryness meter, rain vs. normal comparisons, and zoomable state drought maps.
