Face and Path Wizard
Master your Face & Path
$1.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Have a slice you can't fix? Understand why your golf ball curves with a simple visual tool — tweak your swing on screen, watch the shot, learn the cause.
Visualize exactly how your club face and swing path shape every shot. Face and Path Wizard turns the modern D-plane ball-flight model into a hands-on coaching tool.
Dial in face angle, swing path, loft, attack angle, ball speed, and spin — and instantly see the result in top-down, side, and full 3D views. Watch a slice straighten as the face squares. See why an out-to-in path with a closed face still pulls left. Build the mental model that lets you diagnose and fix your own ball flight.
BUILT ON REAL PHYSICS
• Modern D-plane geometry — the same framework PGA coaches use to explain ball flight
• Drag and Magnus integrator delivers realistic carry, apex, side-spin, and descent
• Plain-English shot classification on every change (push-draw, pull-fade, pull-hook, and more)
THREE VIEWS OF EVERY SHOT
• Top-down chart shows curvature and dispersion
• Side chart shows apex height, descent angle, and carry
• Interactive 3D driving range with yardage markers
TUNED TO YOUR BAG
• Presets for driver, fairway woods, irons, and wedges with realistic loft and ball-speed defaults
• ±10° face and path with 0.5° precision via slider or draggable diagram
• Left-handed mode mirrors the impact view so it reads naturally
COACHING TOOLS
• "Ghost" trajectory overlays your previous shot for side-by-side comparison
• Save any shot to history and revisit it later
• Share any result as a clean image for lessons or texts
No hardware. No sign-in. Pure visualization and instant feedback — every shot, every time.
Ratings & Reviews
Version 1.1 Changes:
• Higher range; Club face and Club path angles can now be set anywhere from -20° to +20°.
• Estimated club-head speed shown beneath ball speed.
• Charts now auto-scale to fit extreme shots so the trajectory never runs off the top or sides.
