A lot of room for improvement

Look for a YNAB replacement you have found the right app. However, it still have its quirks. The app at time will not allow you to use the back arrow, to back out. You will either have to force close the app or try to interact with another section of the app to come back. I can’t wait to see the development process for this app.

Not possible to delete category groups or update allocated budgets to different categories. Will request a refund... not worth it until they make major updates.

Hi Victoria — you were right on both counts when you wrote this, and both are now fixed and live: category groups can be deleted, and allocated budget can be moved between categories. Both shipped in version 1.0.2 this August. If you are willing to give Allot another try, we would love to know whether it now works the way you expected — and if it does not, we are at webgeeksai.in/allot/support. A pass over the wording throughout the app, so the writing reads the way it should have from the start. Allot will also ask, once and never again, whether you would like to rate it. It waits until it has actually earned the question: your budget fully assigned with nothing overspent, or a reconcile where your bank balance matched exactly.
