Keep your FAA medical paperwork in one place: certificate dates, medications, Item 18 answers, Special Issuance. Autofill MedXPress instead of retyping it every renewal.
Free to download, with an optional Guardian Pro subscription. Autofill MedXPress from your own records. The Safari extension puts your medications (Item 17) and doctor visits (Item 19) into the FAA form so you are not retyping every renewal. Countdown, record-keeping, and the medication reference stay free.
Every date that matters, in one place. Certificate expiration for first, second, or third class, with a countdown and reminders before it lapses. BasicMed too.
Item 18 answers you do not have to reconstruct. The app keeps your history and last cycle's explanations, so you answer once and reuse them. In MedXPress the extension fills up to five Yes answers with their explanations. The 25 Yes/No buttons are yours to click.
Your health data stays on your device and your own iCloud.

It seems like my entire aviation career has been a dance to please the FAA. As I get older, the moves get more complicated. If I forget to put a doctor’s visit on my MedXPress form, the FAA can treat it as international. This takes one more level of stress out of my AME visit. By keeping track of all my visits in the app, I know my medical history is accurate. Also. Instead of multiple emails to my AME regarding my SI, I can send him everything right from this app. That keeps everyone in the loop and mitigates me loosing my flying privileges due to a clerical error. Thank you for providing such a valuable resource for the entire aviation community.
Developer Response
Thank you, that is the exact problem I built this around. The clerical errorthat costs you your privileges is the one nobody warns you about, and it isalmost always a visit you genuinely forgot rather than anything you werehiding. The AME sharing came from a beta tester who was tired of chasing his ownpaperwork through email, so it is good to hear it doing that job in the realworld. If anything in the app ever does not work right, my address is inAbout.
One stop shop!

I have a special issuance that requires doctor visits, documentation, and medication, so renewing my aviation medical used to be incredibly stressful. Even after trying to be super diligent, I would occasionally find myself leaving my medical appointment with no medical, due to a change that I had overlooked. This app keeps everything organized, explains what’s required based on my Item 18 answers and medications, and even autofills MedXPress. It also saves my information for the next renewal, all while keeping it completely confidential.

This is amazing! Filling out my medexpress has never been easier. The autofill function makes it seamless! Whether you have a SI or not this is the perfect tool. It’s truly a one stop shop for your medical. With PMG, having guidance and information on issues that could arise is a tremendous lifesaver and will really help with the “what do I do now” questions. I know as I continue my career this app will make my life easier and easier. Thank you!!

Hearing that the autofill made a real MedXPress fill easier is exactly what I built it for, so thank you for taking the time to say so.On the "what do I do now" part: the goal is to put the FAA's own wording and the source right in front of you, so you walk in prepared and your AME has the full picture. The call itself always stays with you and your AME, and that is the line I never want to blur.I am a pilot and I build this solo, so if anything is ever missing or off, support@pilotmedicalguardian.com comes straight to me.Ryan
Very helpful

For years I have been using a word document to keep track of my doctors appointments and medications. This app tracks everything for me. The Medxpress autofill works great. Now that I have all my information in the app it will be even easier in 6 months when my medical is up again. While I do not have a special issuance I could see where this app would be very beneficial for someone with one.
FAA Reference, MedXPress autofill, certificate dates, Item 18, Special Issuance and BasicMed, on iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Your records stay on your device and in your own iCloud.
New:
Picking a provider for a visit now shows the ones you've seen most recently at the top, with the date of your last visit to each.
FAA Reference search now lists the FAA tables that actually match what you typed, instead of every table on the same FAA page. Search for blood in urine and you get Hematuria.
The MedXPress autofill setup steps match today's Safari on iPhone and iPad: where the extensions button is, what the extension is called, and which button to pick when Safari asks.
The intro's setup buttons are easier to read, and the app is ready for iPhone Duo.
