Chess for Kids Ages 6 and Up
$3.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Does your child love games and you want to introduce them to chess in a playful way? Monster Chess does exactly that – with colorful monster pieces, simple rules, and an AI that adapts to your child's skill level.
LEARN CHESS WITHOUT FRUSTRATION
Chess can feel intimidating. Monster Chess solves that in the simplest way: the pieces aren't silent wooden blocks, but lively monster characters with personality. Kids instantly understand who's on their team and who's the opponent – and almost start playing on their own.
FOUR DIFFICULTY LEVELS
Baby Monster: The dark team plays intentionally badly. Kids win almost every time and build confidence.
Sleepy Dragon: Random moves, very easy. Perfect for practicing the basic rules.
Angry Wolf: The monster starts capturing pieces. A real challenge for kids with some experience.
Evil Wizard: Simple strategy for kids who already know their way around the board.
100% SAFE FOR KIDS
No ads. No internet. No account. No tracking. No in-app purchases. Monster Chess runs entirely on the device – no outside connections. The parent area is protected by a simple math problem so kids can't accidentally change settings.
FOR PARENTS
As a parent you know: the best games are the ones where kids don't even realize they're learning. Monster Chess teaches your child all the basic rules of chess – pawns, knights, bishops, rooks, queens, kings – without learning pressure and without screen-time guilt.
Chess builds logical thinking, focus, and patience. And with Monster Chess, it's actually fun.
