Learn economics eight minutes at a time: guess, try it, prove it. Five courses, 912 lessons, all free — in English, Armenian, Spanish, Russian, German and Portuguese.
Economics, taught properly. Eight minutes at a time.
Five courses. 105 units. 912 lessons. From your first supply curve to game theory, expectations and the open economy — each lesson opens with a question, lets you try the idea, then checks that it stuck.
GUESS, TRY IT, THEN PROVE IT
You can't be quizzed into understanding. So every lesson starts with a quick guess, builds the idea in a handful of short cards — five to eighteen — lets you put it to work, and only then asks the questions that check it held. Miss one and you'll see why, not just that.
NOT A TASTER. A CURRICULUM.
Principles of Economics — 22 units, 220 lessons. Tradeoffs, incentives, markets, prices, GDP, inflation. The whole foundation, micro and macro.
Microeconomics — 38 units, 266 interactive lessons. Choice, demand, exchange, production, monopoly, game theory, welfare. Intermediate level, no hand-waving: run a market in a lab, make a firm's call, read the evidence.
Macroeconomics — 18 units, 180 interactive lessons. Goods and financial markets, the labour market, growth, expectations, the open economy, and the policy levers that move them — with plans to stress-test along the way.
Personal Finance — 15 units, 150 interactive lessons. Money psychology, banking, credit, debt, investing, taxes, property — the economics you actually use on a Tuesday.
Behavioral Economics — 12 units, 96 game lessons. Split a pot, trust a stranger, bet on a coin flip — and see why people don't behave the way the models say, and what that changes.
WHAT'S IN EVERY LESSON
- Key terms, defined once, properly
- Concepts in plain language, with examples you'd actually meet
- Comparisons side by side, because that's how economics thinks
- Real curves, drawn to scale — not a stock photo of a graph
- A 526-term glossary you can search any time
BUILT TO KEEP YOU GOING
A daily goal that sits on the trail ahead of you, and a streak freeze you earn by keeping it — so one bad day no longer erases weeks. A widget that keeps your streak and today's goal in sight on your Home Screen. Study prompts that nudge you toward your next lesson at the moments that suit you, up to two a day, with one switch to turn them off. Achievements as you earn them. And weekly Hat Leagues, if competition moves you: race a group of up to 20, climb from the White league to the Black, and finish first to win that league's hat — plus a weekly board with the friends you follow.
IN YOUR LANGUAGE
English, Armenian, Spanish, Russian, German and Brazilian Portuguese. Not just the buttons — every card, every question, every glossary entry.

Ratings & Reviews

Hat Leagues are here — and Economisto now speaks Portuguese.
Every week you race a group of up to 20 learners in your league, ranked by the XP you earn that week. Finish near the top to move up a league, from White all the way to Black. Finish first and you win that league's hat for your hat shelf, for good. In the Black league, the week's top three also make the Hall of Fame. Leagues replace the old daily, weekly and monthly boards; the friends you follow now have their own weekly board on your Profile.
• Português (Brasil): the whole app is now in Brazilian Portuguese — all five courses, every card, every question, all 526 dictionary terms. A new install on a Portuguese iPhone starts in Portuguese, and anyone can switch in Settings → Language.
• A faster start: after you create your account, pick what you'd like to learn first and that lesson opens straight away.
• After your first lesson, Economisto offers to remind you about the next one tomorrow.
• Names in any alphabet now show at the same size and weight on boards and profiles.
