PLAY AND GET REAL FEEDBACK • Live chord scoring listens through your mic and mutes the song's guitar, so only your playing counts. • Song Quest and Chord Storm turn practice into a game. • Practice Lab: write chord progressions and jam over band-style backings, from rock and pop to folk and reggae. A SMARTER TUNER AND CHORD LAB • Nine tunings, including Drop D, Open G, DADGAD and half-step down. • Flat keys are now spelled correctly, and left-handed mode works across Chord Lab, the fretboard and chord diagrams. PRO, YOUR WAY • Import any song from YouTube or your own audio and get chords, lyrics, sections and six separate stems. • Redeem App Store offer codes right from the paywall. AND SO MUCH MORE • Richer iPhone notifications, friendly hints on key screens, song imports that keep going when you leave the screen, and hundreds of fixes to stability, accessibility and design. Thank you for playing with us. Pick up your guitar and let's go!

New in this update: - Live Play Scoring: your mic listens while a song plays and scores your chord changes in real time, with a results report at the end. - Import from YouTube: search YouTube right in the Library and get chords in seconds — no stems required. - Amp Studio: a real neural amp modeling engine for electric guitar tone — import your own captures and dial in input/output gain. - Reliability and performance fixes across playback and imports.

Version 1.5 makes Guitar Mentor a more complete practice studio. • New Graded Sheet Music: practice 28 classical guitar pieces from Initial to Grade 6 with staff notation and guitar TAB. • Slow down difficult passages with count-in, metronome, tempo controls, bar ranges and looping. • Record your playing, listen back, retake and resume a piece from where you stopped. • Open Sheet Music faster from Home and continue your latest piece. • Redesigned notifications and Live Activities with clearer progress and playback controls. • Improved sheet-music replay, rotation and recovery, plus reliability and accessibility fixes throughout the app. Pick a piece, loop the difficult bars and make steady progress

Read real sheet music — and play along. • Graded Sheet Music: 28 classical guitar pieces from Initial to Grade 6, shown as proper staff notation with guitar tab underneath, on a clean full-screen page in landscape. • Hear every line before you play it: built-in playback follows the score bar by bar with a moving cursor. • Practice tools built for learning a piece, not just hearing it — loop any 8-bar section, set tempo from 50 to 200 BPM, count yourself in, and switch the metronome between click, wood and beep with an accent on beat 1. • Record your take through the mic and listen back against the score. • Practice Mode drops the tempo, turns on the click and loops your section in one tap. • Make it yours: choose 2, 3, 4 or 6 bars per line, show or hide chord names, and collapse the controls to give the score the whole screen. • Initial grade is free for everyone. Grades 1–6 are included with Pro. • Pick up where you left off from the home screen. Guitar Mentor Pro • Eligible free learners can receive a one-time $19.99 first-year annual offer after returning to the app or spending three active minutes learning. • The five-minute offer includes a live countdown and can be minimized without losing time. • Refreshed monthly and yearly pricing presentation with clearer renewal details, and a summary of everything Pro unlocks. Also in this release • New A-minor notification sound for practice reminders. • Reliability and performance improvements throughout the app.

Chords by AI — bring any song into Guitar Mentor. • Full song: copy a ready-made prompt, paste it into ChatGPT or Claude, then paste the answer back. You get a clean, playable chord sheet — no editing needed. • Quick: ask PlugAI for a song's chords and save the answer straight to your library. • Verified sheets: prompts require live source checking and the original sounding key, and every sheet is labelled with its source and confidence. • A proper chord-sheet viewer: chords above lyrics, section labels, autoscroll with five speeds, key and capo steppers, Actual/Shapes, Simplify, and text sizing. • Tap any chord in a sheet to jump straight to its shape in Chord Lab. • AI-imported sheets sit alongside everything else in your Chord Library, searchable by song or artist. A new chord flow in Play and Lessons • Play now follows a beat-synced chord timeline instead of the old note highway — clearer and easier to follow. • Lessons reuse the same chord flow, so practice feels consistent everywhere. Fixes and polish • Correct handling of non-Latin lyrics and Unicode chord output. • Consistent key and source formatting on imported sheets. • No more duplicate saves when re-importing the same song. • Smoother scrolling on small screens, and clearer copy on the restore-purchases screen.
