AI Calorie Tracker: SnapMacro
Photo Food Log & Macro Counter
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Snap a photo of your meal and get an AI estimate of its calories and macros. Edit anything before you save, or log by search, barcode or quick calories.
SnapMacro helps you log meals and follow your calories and macros without a sign-up wall. Start as a guest, then save an account when you're ready.
FIVE WAYS TO LOG
• Photo: photograph a meal for an AI estimate of its foods, portions, calories and macros. Review and edit everything before saving.
• Search: find foods by name.
• Barcode: scan packaged foods.
• Manual: create a food with your own nutrition values.
• Quick calories: log just the calories when you don't know the details.
SEE YOUR DAY
Follow calories, protein, carbs and fat across breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Correct a logged food's values by hand, reuse recently logged foods, track water and check your progress with weekly and monthly calorie, macro and weight charts.
OPTIONAL HEALTH SYNC
With your permission, Apple Health can share selected activity and weight measurements with SnapMacro. You can revoke access at any time.
FREE AND PREMIUM
Food logging, your diary and progress charts are free, and a limited number of AI photo analyses are included. SnapMacro Premium includes up to 30 AI photo analyses a day (the count starts over at midnight, your local time) and unlocks Insights: meal timing, weekday vs. weekend habits, goal consistency and how your intake tracks your weight. Premium is a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. The price is shown before you confirm, and you can cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings.
Available in 33 languages, with metric and imperial units and dark mode.
YOUR DATA
Usage analytics are off unless you opt in. AI analysis is optional: before your first photo analysis, SnapMacro asks your permission to send meal photos, and searches our food list can't answer, to Anthropic, the company behind the Claude AI. Search, barcode and manual logging work without it. In Profile → Privacy & data you can export your data as a ZIP file or delete your account immediately, with no waiting period.
