MuSheetCreator is a score-drafting tool for music creators on iPhone and iPad. Record a melody at the piano or an idea on the violin, then develop the editable notation into your own composition. Your original audio stays available for comparison.
Start with a performance
• Choose single-melody, piano transcription, or polyphonic/chord mode.
• Capture MIDI events directly from a compatible digital piano.
• Piano and polyphonic/chord modes support recordings up to 5 minutes. The limit is shown before recording, and recording stops automatically at the limit.
Listen, read, and refine
• Play the original recording and synthesized score separately.
• Scroll through the full score; open a single measure when you want to edit.
• Adjust pitches, durations, rests, and chord tones; add lyrics and notation markings.
• Use a grand staff with treble and bass clefs, and start playback from a selected measure or note.
Save and share
• Save compositions for later editing and export project backups.
• Export PDF, HTML score previews, MIDI, or event text.
• Export the retained original recording separately.
Before you begin
Audio transcription produces an editable creative draft, not a guaranteed exact reproduction of a performance or existing score. Recording conditions, playing style, and sustain pedal use can affect pitch, duration, and timing. Compare with the original audio and edit as needed. Piano transcription is for piano only. For compatible digital pianos, MIDI input is recommended. MIDI-only capture without a simultaneous microphone recording has no original audio to play back.
