What's new in 3.0.32 • New opening: a real flight photo for your discipline (paragliding, paramotor, hang gliding, trike, ultralight) when the app starts and on the sign-in screen. • Faster start: shorter wait on the opening screen and fewer network calls at launch. • Community feed sorted by landing time — whoever launches early and lands last shows up on top. Flights uploaded days later show "uploaded on". • "Flying today?" is more direct: instead of "Marginal", it shows the reason — "Windy", "Gusty", "Rain", "Strong thermals". • Flight track visible at any zoom level in Live and in the flight details (including long flights). • The iPhone "Allow paste?" prompt no longer appears when opening the app — only when you tap "Paste coordinate" in Routes. • Lighter profile pictures in the feed: less data in the field.

What's new in 3.0.31 • Wing and motor on Live: pilots following your flight now see the wing and motor you picked in pre-flight, next to your name and photo. • Take off silently: new option in Settings → Fly OFF. Nobody gets a notification when you take off or land, but you still show up on Live for pilots in the air. • Approximate location warning: if your phone is set to approximate location, pre-flight warns you and takes you straight to the settings. Without precise location the flight is not recorded. • Flights imported from IGC files now get the correct date and time. • Followers and following list: no longer goes blank after a connection failure, and you can pull to refresh. The search keyboard now closes when you tap outside. Happy flying!

Important fix for pilots who updated their iPhone to iOS 27. • The app opens normally again on iOS 27. In the previous version it closed right after launch. • No flights or data were lost: just update and sign in as usual. We apologize for the trouble. Happy flying!

"Create link" no longer shows an error. • Landing detected faster with the phone still (Samsung), no false "GPS stuck" warning. • Sharing a flight on iPhone works on every screen. • Leaving Explore with the traffic layer on stops background polling (battery). • Partner news: the notification opens the story; new toggle in Profile › Notifications. • Store review prompt now shows after the 3rd flight.

• "Protect recording" now works: the button opens the system dialog to exempt XCFLY from battery optimization and, if the device declines, shows a step-by-step guide with the battery optimization screen. • Voice announcement interval is now configurable (30 s to 5 min) in Settings → Audio. • Fixes a blank screen when adding a wing or motor from the flight detail.

The app now also detects and restarts the GPS if it fails before takeoff, alerting the pilot. • Recording is never interrupted mid-flight anymore: any accidental-recording check happens at landing only. • XC Planner: routes with up to 40 points (previously 12). When a leg can't be solved, the message now explains the real reason — altitude limits (with terrain and ceiling numbers) or headwind too strong. • XC Planner: "Create Route" button next to Import GPX, editable route name on import, waypoint renaming, and past dates blocked. • Route builder: fixed tapping to add waypoints after switching the map layer. • Beta: the app uploads a technical diagnostic along with each flight to speed up fixes. What to test: arm pre-flight and fly normally, checking the recording; in the XC Planner, import and calculate large routes (14+ points) and try the altitude limits.
