collection, and tells you what to play next - with an opinion
attached.
HOW IT WORKS
Connect your Discogs account or import a Record Scanner
export. Drop a needle. Tap Listen. SydeTwo identifies the
record, then recommends what should follow based on era,
style, mood, and where the evening has already been. Accept
it or reject it. Either way it learns the room.
BRING IT IN HOWEVER IT LIVES
Discogs sync or a Record Scanner CSV. Import from both if
that's how your shelf got catalogued. Once it's in, it's one
collection - no second-class rack, no separate view, no
reminder of where anything came from.
BUILT FOR THE COUCH, NOT THE COMMUTE
Big artwork. Readable across a room. Pass the iPad around and
let everyone argue. Plug into a TV or AirPlay to a big screen
and the record art fills the room.
IT HAS OPINIONS
Four personality modes - Sober, Buzzed, Elevated, and Vinyl
Goblin. Pick your evening. The commentary escalates
accordingly.
GUEST SPINS
Someone always shows up with a bag. Log what they brought,
let it play into the night's history, and flag the ones you
want for yourself. Guest records stay in the session they
belong to - they never quietly move into your collection.
LINER NOTES
Three good facts about the record in your hands. Not thirty
adequate ones.
SESH TO GO
Plan a set before the guests arrive. Export it as a shareable
card with real album art.
SETLISTS AND SESSION HISTORY
Every sesh gets a name and a card you can share. Look back at
where an evening went.
WHAT SYDETWO DOESN'T DO
No ads. No accounts. No tracking. No subscriptions. Nothing
leaves your device except what's needed to talk to Discogs
and look up a record.
