[BUILD THE SCHEDULE]
- A staff-by-day grid, just like a paper schedule. Tap a template (AM, Mid, PM, Full Day) to add a shift
- Copy last week and confirm draft shifts in one go
- Day, Week and Month views, plus a heatmap of headcount by hour
[SEE WHERE YOU'RE SHORT]
- Set staffing needs by weekday and by time of day (for example, 3 people from 11a to 2p every day)
- Short days turn red; short hours get a dashed outline
- "Add Here" suggests the shift that covers the most missing hours, and who is available to work it
- Alerts for empty hours, long runs of workdays, short breaks and short rest between shifts
[COLLECT STAFF REQUESTS]
- Staff can check their own shifts and send shift requests, day-off requests and swap requests
- Weekly Requests let staff send a whole week at once. Set a deadline, and late requests are marked
- Approve or decline everything from the To Do tab
- Someone called in sick? Find a Replacement lists who can cover, with overtime notes

- Send each staff member a link to their own page. In any browser, they see their shifts and everyone's, no app needed
- Change a shift and the same link shows the update. No need to send it again

- See who has sent requests and who hasn't
- Encrypted on your device and in the browser, so we can't read it. Wages, phone numbers and notes are never included
- Monthly or yearly. Separate from the one-time Premium purchase

[LABOR COST AND HOURS]
- Hours and estimated labor cost per person, totaled automatically
- U.S. federal overtime (over 40 hours a week at 1.5x), or a custom rule with daily overtime, night premiums and breaks
- Set your payroll closing day; totals follow your pay period
- Book a raise ahead, such as a minimum wage increase, and shifts from that day use the new rate
- Staff can see their estimated gross pay. Taxes and deductions are not included

- Shiftmate Link: Fixed an issue where some staff pages could stay at "Awaiting approval" after you approved requests from several staff members
- Staff you add while collecting requests can now send requests from their own page
- Staff pages now load the latest content when you come back to them
- Request notifications now appear while the app is open, and the app asks for notification permission when you turn on Notify When Requests Arrive
- Staff pages finish updating even if you close the app right after approving
