Rōute: Trip Itinerary Planner

Flights, hotels & travel plans

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Your trip, day by day, and it works with no signal. When a flight slips, Rōute works out what it costs the rest of your day. Quiet when nothing breaks. $4.99 once. Rōute keeps your whole trip in one place, laid out day by day, and it works whether or not you have a signal. Pay $4.99 once and it's yours. No subscription, no ads, no account to create. Your trips live on your phone. STOP TYPING IN YOUR BOOKINGS Open a confirmation email, tap Share, and pick Rōute. It reads the booking and pulls out the airline, the times, the flight number, the hotel, the confirmation number, and the address. You check it looks right and it drops onto the correct day. You can paste a confirmation instead, or upload the PDF, or share a Fora itinerary link. YOUR TRIP, DAY BY DAY Flights, hotels, cruises, activities, restaurants, transport and notes, each with a time, a confirmation number, an address and a booking link. Reorder a day by dragging. Attach the PDF so it's there when someone asks for it. Still deciding? Mark something tentative and it sits in the plan without pretending to be booked. Say who each thing is for when you're not all doing the same thing. Type a flight number and a date and Rōute fills in the rest. Pick how it looks: eight faces across five themes, from cream paper to true black. IT CATCHES WHAT YOU MISSED Rōute reads your itinerary for the mistakes people actually make. A connection you can't make. A night with no hotel booked. Two stays that overlap. Not enough time to get across town. Import a plan from somewhere else and it runs that check straight away, so you find out the connection is impossible before you're standing in the airport. Send the same confirmation twice and it shows you what changed. ON THE DAY, IT REACTS When a flight slips, Rōute works out what that does to the rest of your day and tells you that, instead of telling you the flight slipped. You land at 9:35 and dinner is at 8:00, forty minutes away. That is the thing worth knowing. Running late for your own reasons? Tell it, and the same thing happens. A slow lunch, a border queue, a taxi that never came. It stays quiet the rest of the time, and that is the point. A ten-minute delay that breaks nothing never interrupts you. A delay that fixes itself never reaches you at all. When something does go wrong it is one notification that keeps getting more accurate, never eight, and it always says why. A trip opens on the day you're on, with when to leave for each stop and what changed today, so nothing is lost by the app staying quiet. Live flight status carries the gate, the terminal and the times in each airport's own time zone. Near departure it moves to your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island with a countdown. Sunrise and sunset sit on the day, because how much daylight you have decides how much fits in it. WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL Everything you've saved is on your device and readable on the plane, in a tunnel, or on a foreign SIM you haven't sorted out yet. The online parts step aside quietly when the network isn't there. TAKE IT WITH YOU Export a clean PDF itinerary to print or send to whoever's meeting you. Get a day's stops on a map, then hand any one of them to Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze, Uber, Lyft or Grab. Search every trip you've saved by confirmation number, hotel, or city. WHEN YOU GET BACK Rōute Wrapped turns a finished trip into a card worth sending: the route you took, the days, the miles flown, the stops. There's a Year in Travel recap too. YOURS, AND ONLY YOURS No account. Nothing on our servers. Your trips sync across your own devices through your own iCloud, and they ride your normal device backup. You can export any trip to a file and keep it forever. Try it free with two trips. Unlock unlimited trips once, and it stays unlocked. Part of the Āpex Suite by HYTimes App Studio. Pay once, own forever. No subscriptions.

Rōute used to tell you your flight was delayed. Now it tells you what that does to your evening. IT REACTS When a flight slips, Rōute recomputes the rest of the day and says the thing that actually matters: you land at 9:35 and your 8:00 dinner is forty minutes from the airport. Then it offers the obvious next move and lets you decide. RUNNING LATE IS A FACT TOO Tell Rōute you're behind and the whole day updates the same way. A slow lunch, a border queue, a taxi that never came. It applies to what's left of that day and nothing on the next one. AND IT STAYS QUIET A ten-minute delay that breaks nothing doesn't interrupt you. A delay that fixes itself never reaches you at all. When something does break, it's one notification that keeps getting more accurate rather than eight, it waits out quiet hours unless you'd need to act before you'd wake, and it always tells you why. THE DAY YOU'RE ON A trip opens on today. What's happening now is marked, when to leave sits on the way to each stop, and anything that changed is noted under the day it changed. Nothing is lost by the app staying quiet, because it's all there when you look. WHEN TO LEAVE Leave-by times computed from real travel time and recomputed whenever anything moves, not a fixed timer counting back from a booking. A NEW LOOK The day is a timetable now: times down a ruled column, booked and revised side by side when they differ. Eight faces across five themes, from cream paper to true black, and the widget, the Lock Screen and your Wrapped cards all print in the one you picked. ALSO • Sunrise, sunset and day length on each day. • Mark something tentative while you're still deciding. • Say who each item is for. • Add a flight by typing its number and the date. • When your airline emails a schedule change, share it to Rōute and it updates the flight you already have, from the share sheet or inside the app, instead of adding a second copy. You see what changed before it's saved. • No "head to the airport" reminder on the second leg of a connection, when you're already there. • On iPad, a trip gains a second column: the thing you opened, and that day's map under it. • On Apple Watch, the flight countdown in the Smart Stack has a layout of its own now, instead of the Dynamic Island's leftovers. • Duplicate a trip you take often. • Walking and driving legs are worked out properly now, including the 1 km that is really a ride because there's water in the way. Set how far you'll walk, and whether you have a car. • Times read in the right zone everywhere, including a trip that crosses the date line. • Bigger text no longer pushes anything off a row. The flight countdown on the Lock Screen, Dynamic Island and Apple Watch now needs iOS 18. The home screen widget still works from iOS 16.
